Shadows and Reflections

Artist Statement: For this assignment, I had to take pictures of shadows and reflections and pick my ten favorites. I took some of the photos at school, at my house, and a couple at the harbor in South Freeport. To take pictures of shadows, the sun needed to shine the right way so I could only take them when the sun was out. I also took some reflection photos when it was cloudy. My favorite photo is probably the fourth one. I like this because the reflection in the water is so clear, especially the Christmas lights. I also like how the background is foggy so it makes the subject stand out.
