Surrealist Photomontage

Artist Statement: For this project, I had to create a surrealist photomontage. It was hard to come up with an idea for this project because I had seen so many cool examples but I just couldn't think of something that I could do. It wasn't until I saw the surrealist photos of the people made to look tiny in an image. This stood out to me because I knew that I could create it with the skills I learned from previous projects using photoshop. All of the images I used for this project were my own images. One of the hardest parts was putting all of the different images together. Something I added to the final image was shadows so that the subjects didn't look like they were floating. This took me a while because I wanted to make the shadows as realistic as possible. In the end, it did take me while to complete, but I like the way it turned out.
