Right now as we handle this time of quarantine with our kids a few lessons are becoming apparent. Educators are a very important part of society and students can't have their learning kept in a classroom. We're seeing that learning opportunities are everywhere when kids look at the world with wonder. Educators are working around the clock to get work to students and talk with their families during this difficult time everyone is facing. Parents are doing their best and working with their child's educator but learning is not easy in this uncertain time.
Even though we are trying to keep everything as routine as possible there are times when it just doesn't work out as planned. That's okay and we need to give ourselves a break about trying to make everything go as planned, because it won't. Just be patient and find ways to spend this time together in peace. Kids can and will learn from you as you, the parent, as you are their first educator anyway. You've helped them understand right from wrong, social skills, skills that are a part of any family hobbies you have, and the like. Just work with educators and help your child find curiosity in the world around them.
