Family Trees

The connection we make with our family is one of the strongest ones we will make. It is a bond that only those we love can share in. It is important that we take that bond seriously and share in that bond with our kids. We need to talk to our kids about where and who they come from. If we don't know much about them researching them can be a good family project. Now, when dealing with adoption or a difficult family situation the project can become difficult. However, you could create your own family history by starting with those members you do know about such as parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, and cousins. If possible have them write about themselves. Then add all of that to a photo album or scrapbook.
