Makerspaces are great for allowing kids to use their creativity in new and exciting ways. These spaces, whether at home or school, have an array of materials that kids can make things from. The materials vary from paper, pencils, markers, crayons, electrical components, nuts, bolts, screws, screwdrivers, hammers, nails as well as other craft supplies. The more diverse the makerspace the more things kids can create. From awesome projects to robots the choices are limitless.
The makerspaces can be so fun for students when given the tools that go along with it. For example, to make a robot the kids will need basic coding knowledge. This knowledge, however, can be easily found and developed through a little practice. Really though the same can be said for most things they might wish to create. In reality, if they desire to make it they can find a way to do it.
