If you want, I can set up a part of my site to host files. (10GB = 10GB on another account)

Or I can create another site with an url finishing by ".free.fr" or ".online.fr" (in fact, it's the same provider). Same thing : 10GB for the linked email address, and 10GB of storage. FTP access, and webftp access (for files under 2MB). As you wish (I can create an unlimited number of accounts, so, it's up to you).

EDIT:Pages up to 36 backuped

Thanks for the offer but I'm ok, I've got a 10GB HTTP storage space anyway, don't know about Oleg.

I announce the Hall of Fame for Special Tracks is OPEN!

It's possible to make relative links but full URL still be seen in the status line. You could create different channel on the store server without your name.

Plus, when I click on the URL I have ZIP file as text in the window - as it was with RAR for you. If I use right-click, I sometimes get the file with HTM extension (examples: http://files.me.com/mattrocks_slee/2y64hl ; http://files.me.com/mattrocks_slee/9lzdpd ; http://files.me.com/mattrocks_slee/wwz1su). This is because the last part of URL "cmq8o8" does not contain an (ZIP) extension.

Hm. I have free 64 MBytes on one of my hosting servers. I could make the HOF ST also. But then I would have to check all races that are sent to me :)

Impossible, Mobile Me is too simple and doesn't allow that.

I'm afraid that is unchangeable, the link is preset. When you click "Save Target" doesn't it just save anyway?

That post was written on the 20 September 2009, but I'll change it anyway.

It is saved sometimes as ZIP, sometimes as HTM (but it is still ZIP file). I wonder if your Macintosh understands the format properly because the format is not included in online file, and the extension is absent.

OK, but it's better than nothing :) Thanks for the job.

It is encrypted, probably designed for mac, but you can still download the replays right?

It's a lot better than nothing, have you noticed mk closed his HOF for ST? This is what we have to deal with for the moment, I have put the #1 records on FTP, but the rest is HTML. I CAN change this, I just need someone to confirm they can download AM v2 1.08.10.zip or any record by me. It should work.

PS

I've got a two week holiday, this is my last week of term 3 for school! YAY!

For that, it's just that Mac OS X and Linux don't use file extensions : they read the header of each file to choose the right app :

Rename a file with another extension, the system won't be tricked (for formats using MIME types).

So, Matt has just to change the name of the files : just add the right suffix to each file. Nothing is encrypted or such. Just smarter :D

I can download #1 files but this became not comfortable now: I have to click once and then wait and click again. It was better with former files.me.com links.

Do you know how many people are still playing this game ?

It's a shame we can't create our own SS2. I don't have enough knowledge nor time...

It's almost the only snowboarding game on PC (which I find really more interesting than SSX). Maybe....in a few years ?

I hear you, it would get more people playing the game.

But looking at the changes, Add-ons and improvements you guys have made it may as well be SSB2. We could probably make 3 Alpine, Forest and Village tracks and then sell it as freeware or $$, lots of people would download it. I wonder if Atari would support it...

I have an announcement:

Ultimate by Matt is now finished to the first checkpoint! :):D:cool::nuts:

mattrocks_slee

It amazes me how much work you guys have done, especially mk, over the years.

And no, I don't really want to see a prison cell from the inside, I'm hinting to Atari that people (or us) are very interested in SSB2, it would be cool if they gave us the rights, oh well. :atari:

Amped 3 does not compare, I've tried it and I'm sticking with Supreme Snowboarding.

As a matter of fact, at the very least 3 people are involved in the HOF ST, but if you look Dom, Vanish, Sean and the legend Jake are involved in a couple of records.

I have just one last question for the time being:

When you open "You can send your records to me..." it comes up full screen, is there a way to make it only the amount of space needed (visual)?

BTW

My website just hit 1,000 views!

For this month:

139 views from Australia

28 views from Germany

5 views from Netherlands

5 views from US

3 views from Ukraine

1 view from Greece

1 view from France

1 view from Mexico

I have reached 1,008 as it says from http://statcounter.com

Excellent work!

I announce the beginning of a new era, one that mk will probably hate me for it.

I am the #1 world record holder for...

Alpine Easy!

I beat mk with 1.18.86 and I SWEAR I was only trying to beat Dom's 1.19.93, it just turned out more awesome than I thought it would, oh well.

You may download it here but it requires a password, the password will be released in this forum in 2 days, or later. For the meantime, you can live with these two videos:

Matt vs mk

Matt

God be with you in your attempts to beat me mk!

New announcement:

Early release of 1.18.86, the password has been removed, feel free to attempt to beat it.

mk, could you please add my race to the Hall of Fame?

corrected track, corrected times

I will fix now the soil bug at "Special by Matt Village". To avoid soil, the file Material_Map.bin in the Village Easy folder has to be older than the file Rock00_Map.tga in the folder Matt_Village. It is already fixed in the Special Tracks installer with 36 tracks. Later I will fix it in the Demo Tracks. I will inform you via e-mail.

high-speed by Matt - Oleg M - wrong: 1.11.02 - corrected: 1.11.03

We only count the highest times. Or do you need to cheat?

mattrocks_slee

10-03-2009 04:34 AM

I have corrected the times. I just realised something:

Special Village by Mr K 1.02.96

The time is clearly shown in the video as 1.02.96 but my Mac claims it is 1.02.95, a time error in my very own home!

I would never cheat, I have been accused but I don't plan on being a cheater.

Also:

I recommend looking at Mogul Slope 1.38.02, it is very cool and the route followed is quite interesting.

I own the world record by 17.15 seconds, the biggest margin between first and second, awesome!

Could someone visit this site:

Does it come up with anything?

Also try this:

Then go to Hall of Fames/Original Hall of Fame.

The first page is empty, the second not.

The world record at AM v2 is 1.08.10, not 1.08.06. I saw 1.08.06 several times and do not know why. But now I see 1.08.10, which is exactly the time from the DAT Analyzer. So: 1.08.10.

For the first page, the trouble is that the tag

<script type="text/javascript"

src="hoad.js" />

is not closed. So, just add </script> after and it should work as expected.

PS : Why scripts ?

Matt, would you put Dom and Jake also to your Hall of Fame? And name it Australian Hall of Fame.

Blue on Black is almost not visible. If you want to use Ukrainian colors as I do (great!) then use light blue.

The only relevant Hall of Fame is at www.supreme-snowboarding.tk.

Anything else is either a good joke or a bad joke.

But since Matt created a "Hall of Fame Matt", everything is allowed.

SS 1.035 A (Fixed Version)

Hi all !

Even if I don't work or play Supreme (for now), I'm still thinking about SS 1.035 A (Fixed Version).

I have probably made too deep changes in the current (unavailable) version. The work is mainly about the disk usage (folder structure, needed files...). I have simplified the files' organization, but it breaks mk's installers.

I first thought (for a long time) that I could create my own installers, but it would be too much work for nearly nothing, so I will make it fully backward compatible for tracks installers.

In short, the main changes are(/will be) :

If you have suggestions, please post.

Now, from my special track, I'm thinking about something quite special. If I can do what I'm looking for, I might do it. If so, I will have to create a full set of tracks (=9). It's safety splines related. If I don't do that, I have another idea to get quite the same result (not as much freedom, but partly).

I might re-run Supreme for the next holidays. (So, I haven't tested the new tracks posted since Matt's impossible one, and DeJogg's one).

I never needed hires pictures, I always used medres, and mk in his installer always uses medres for clothes etc (Michael, right?).

So it would be great to choose medres resolution.

P.S. All we do here is for nothing. For our own fun.

michael.tk

10-08-2009 01:43 AM

Re:

Usually the hires files are not used by the game. Even when you select the highest possible resolution, the game takes the medres files. You can prove it for example for the boards.

However, Xinfe, you can do what you want. And we will try it out.
