September 30, 2021 Neeting

We had a good turnout again for today's meeting.

Lion Dave collects the money while Lion Dave keeps an eye on him.

Not sure why  Lion Dennis is so happy.

Lion Dan is back taking selfies, this time with Lion Nick.

Lion Secretary Bob takes care of attendance slip violations.

Lion Tom Gazella introduced his wife Karen, but for some reason did not sit with her for lunch.

Lion Dave did fill out an attendance slip, but got fined for not turning it in.

Lion Tail Twister Gazella was really busy today. Perhaps because he will be absent for two weeks as he does some traveling. He'd better take the cat with him.

Looks like he has something on one of Berrien County's Finest.

Yup, he's fining Lion Sheriff Chuck for not recognizing himself as a Lion in a news article.

Looks like he has another fine.

He's fining Lion Tom Jennings for not recognizing himself in a campaign poster. You'd think he would know better.

Lion Tom and Lion Jackie report that they attended the memorial service for the late Lion Arden. They said that not once during the service did they mention that he was a Lion. After the service, Arden's children recognized that and paid his fine.

Lion Larry then announced that he also recognized that not once did they recognize Lion Arden as a Lion during the memorial and you will need to watch the video below to find out what Lion Larry did.

Lion Tamer Allan once again challenged us with trivia. No birthdays this week.

United Civic Monuments

Emanual and Sharon Brownm are the founders of United Civic Monumets.

One of the purposes of the organization is to erect monuments in both Benton Harbor & St  Joseph.  The public art will honor the influence and strength of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others. 

In addition they will develop a curriculum which will educate students and community members of the importance and value of all humanity.

Lion Ren announces upcoming programs.

Lion Ron wants to know "How much is in that Pot 'o Silver?"

Lion Tom responds. "The pot is now over $300.00."
