February 13, 2020 Baord Meeting

It was another dreary winter day in Southwest Michigan for our monthly board meeting, but we endured the weather to meet together as a club. Lion Jackie surprised us by decorating all of the tables with a Valentine Day motif and candy for each memeber. Our president, Lion Dave, opened the meeting starting with the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance and a Prayer. Lion Prez Dave gave his monthly report, Secretary Lion Mike gave his secreatary's report and Lion Treasuer Ren presented an excellent financil report. We are well on target to be able to support acivities for our community and beyond. We were particularly pleased to hear that we were able to provide a pair of glasses for a young man who could not afford them. We also heard updates from our various committes. Lion Wagner gave us our first look at the 2020 Camp Leo Brochure published by the Berrien RESA. Lion Jim also revealed the new display boards that we use to show the District 11-B2 efforts supporting Camp Leo. Lots of work done today but also lots of fun. Even though this was a work meeting, we enjoyed each other's company and had fun doing so. Many of our guests state that our meetings are more fun than others that they attend while still accomplishing great things for the community.
