WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM MEMBERSHIP IN THE LIONS CLUB OF ST. JOSEPH?
You can expect to have fun. During the course of a year will have opportunities to participate in dinners, golf outings, steak fries, picnics, ball games and so on. Yes, you will have fun.
You can also expect to work hard. You will sell white cane tags, and newsies. You will clean beaches; paint toys and swings, and work at the Arts and Crafts Show and basketball tournaments. You will work hard to make St. Joseph a better place to live.
And you can expect to be proud. Proud of the fun you’ve had, proud of the work you’ve done, and proud of the club to which you belong.
WHAT DO WE EXPECT OF YOU?
We expect you to attend meetings on Thursdays as often as you can. This is where you will get to know your fellow Lions and we will get to know you.
This includes attending the monthly board meetings. This is where you get to know the club’s committees, officers and activities.
We expect you to actively participate in the social, fund raising and community projects of this Club. It is this participation that makes our Club a success.
Our motto is WE SERVE and we expect all members to serve.
HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?Begin by attending meetings as the guest of a club member. If you don't yet know a club member, our Membership & Attendance Officer (stjoelions@gmail.com) would be happy to serve as your host.
