As one of its community service projects, the St. Joseph Lions Club meets early in May (weather permitting) to paint picnic tables, pavilions, and prep all the grills for the incoming summer season at Lion's Park Beach. The city of St. Joseph Park Dept. provides the supplies and Lions do the labor.

It looks like Lion Ed is satisfied with our work.
After a long afternoon of work, Lions are joined by spouses and families for a picnic in the newly painted pavilion at Lion's Park Beach. The food is often prepared by Lion Ron Griesinger and any other grill pals who can join him. The picnic is always a great way to finsh to the day.
