February 6, 2020 Meeting

Welcome to the February 6, 2020 St. Joseph Lions Club Meeting web page. Today was a very blustery and snowy day in Southwest Michigan. This is most likely why attendance was down today, along with some memebers being ill. We welcomed back Lion Prez Dave today and he started the meeting by having us sing My Country Tis of Thee, which we did very well at today. This was followed by the Pledeg of Allegiance. Lion Dave then led us in an insprirational prayer. Once again, Lion DJ Jim played some music by the Benny Goodman Quartet for our listening pleasure during lunch.

Becaus of the lower attendance today there was not much business to take care of. Lion Vern announced the lucky winners of his "Big Game" activity which helps support the Tail Twister and Camp Leo. As you will see in the meeting video below there were quite a few winners. Of course, to receive their winnings they had to be in attendance today. Sorry missing Lions. The Tail Twister was again very observant in noticing two Lions who failed to idententify themseves as Lions in printed articles. The Subsitute Lion Tamer only had a short football trivia contest. This left plenty of time for our program.

The program this week was presented by our own Lions, Lion Dennis and Lion Jim. They demonstrated an amazing phenomenon that they possessed, the ability to read each other's mind. Their research indicated that this was because of the bond that they have as musicians who work very closely together. There is really no other explanation(???). They demonstarted this with by having the Lions in attendance try to stump them, they were not  successful on many tries. You can see part of this demonstration  in the videos below. Needless to say, the club was AMZED!

Not only do we work hard To Serve, but we also have fun while doing it.
