September 24, 2020 Meeting
Well, here we are in Septmber of 2020 and the pandemic is still with us, so we still need to hold virtual ZOOM meetings. Below you will find some "screenshots" of this meeting.
As usual Lion Prez Carrie opened the meeting.
Lion Dennis and Lion Jim performed "My Country Tis of Thee" followed by Lion Ron Griesinger's recitation of the " Pledge of Allegiance" and the Blessing.
Our program today was from the Berrien County Health Department.
Gillian Conrad, Communication Director for the BCHD, gave a very interesting overview of our county's response to this pandemic so far.
This graph shows the seven day rolling average of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Berrien County over time.
BCHD's main objectives during this pandemic.
This is the present focus of the BCHD.
Gillian stressed it was up to all of us to protect ourselves and our neighbors.
It was a very interesting presentation. This slide shows where the community can find up-to-date information on the county's efforts.
As is our practice, we hear from two Lions who tell us about themselves so we can all get to know each other better. One of today's Lions was Lion Steve Nordberg.
Our other Lion presenter was Lion Ren Baldwin. I think we learned some new things about both of these Lions.

Lion Vern had Lion Dennis virtually draw this week's Pot 'o Silver winner.
Lion Larry was this week's winner. He was in attendance today and at our last meeting. Now, if he shows up for the next meeting, he will receive half of the Pot 'o Silver. Will he be there?
