The August 15, 2019 meeting was another good one. The lunch meal was once again excelent and we had a good turnout. One of the highlights of the meeting was the recieving of a banner from the Lugono Switzerland Lions Club. Their president, who was on business in St. Joe last year attended our club meeting (see our archives). He was impressed with our meeting, hospitality and friendship. On his return trip to the USA he presented our club with the Lugono Club's Banner. Thank you Lugono Lions Club. We also had a very intersting and inspirational presentation from the Emergency Shelter Services director. The shelter helps homless people and children in our area. The St. Joseph Lions is proud to assist the shelter.
