August Virtual Board Meeting

Because of restrictions on meetings during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Lions Club of Saint Joseph Michigan met virtualy via Zoom video conferecncing for its August Board Meeting. Witht this technology we can safely take care of normal business and plan how we can still provide service to the community in these troubling times. Below is a visual synopsis of this meeting.

Lion Prez Carrie opened the meeting.
Lions Dennis & Jim performed "My Country Tis of Thee".
Lion Jim led us in the Pledge of Allegiance and gave the Blessing.

On Saturday, August 1st, volunteers from the St. Joseph Lions Club partnered with the Berrien Community Foundation to provide school supplies for students in our county.  With masks and observance of social distancing, Lions packed nearly 500 pencil bags. The event took place in Riverview Park, St. Joseph, at the picnic area near the Lions Shelter. It was a great afternoon of service.


This is going to be a challenging year for everybody including the Saint Joseph Lions Club. This pandemic is going to drastically affect our fund raising efforts which support our projects and services, but we are committed to do our very best becaus:
