sj lion's Bell Top Emblem Kidnapped

The St. Joseph Lion's call each meeting to order by ringing the Lion's Bell. It is an integral part of all of our meetigs and it works very hard. Because of this, the Lion logo on top of the bell decided that it needed a well deserved vacation in Europe (actually it was kidnapped by Lion Gazella). Below are some photos of the Emblem on vacation. We think this is going to cost Lion Prez a big fine for letting the Emblem leave his hands and the country.

Here's a message from the vacationing St. Joe Lion's Bell Emblem.

“Hey everyone back at the Lions Club,

I am having the time of my life so far!  No pictures of me in Trieste or Udine Italy as jet lag took its toll. I have sent along some pictures of Ljubljana and Lake Bled in Slovenia.  I may need to have the club forward some dollars to me as I may run out of euros before this trip ends.  Lion Gordy…maybe a fine or two would be in order and could you send the money to me?  I am in Vienna right now and will try to get some pics for the next edition of the Claw.” Actually there was a demand for a ransom for Lion Prez to be able to get the bell back.

Our Bell Top might be travelling light, but he sure is travelling right!

The Bell Top was very pleased when he saw that the Zagreb Lions met at the same hotel he was staying in.

Dinner in Zagreb was excellent.

I'm really eating well on this trip. Here is my dinner in Budapest. I'm so glad that Lion Gazella "kidnapped" me, I'm having so much fun.

The Bell Top will be heading home shortly. I hope Lion Prez will take care of my ransom so I can get back to the top of the St. Joseph Lion's Club Bell! Lion Gazella has actually treated me very well.

The Bell Top Emblem is finally back from it's kidnapping to Europe. Lion Gazella provided some anti-pasta as an apology for kidnapping the bell top. It looks like he treated it well. We are all glad to see the Bell Top back in it's position at the top of our bell.

Yes, St. Joseph Lions have fun while working hard.
