• Barbara Pomeroy Bb about1577 married Stephen Southcott in Barbara Pomeroy, married Stephen Southcott in Dec 1611. He died in 1613 & widow of Southcott, then married Arthur Seccombe by licence around 27 Nov 1620 in St Stephen By Launceston.
  By his 1st wife Arthur Seccombe  had a daughter , Maria , who they married to John Pomeroy  youngest brother of Barbara . They  married  in 1626 at Lynton in North Devon when Maria was about 13 & he was in his 40's.
  Their children were 1st Mary Pomeroy who died as infant 2nd Dorothy Pomeroy who married Sir James Langham
  3rd Arthur Pomeroy who became Dean of Cork & married Elizabeth Osbourne sister and co -heir of Sir John Osbourne of Ballinaylor in County Waterford in Ireland. before 1675 -
  From this line come that of the Viscounts Harberton

• Arthur Seccombe, was buried on 21-Nov 1644  St Stephen by Launceston

• This must be a son by a 1st marriage, Arthur Seccombe, widowed , married on 10 Sept 1644 to Alice Veale  

• Barbara Seccombe ,gentlewoman, buried 11 April 1669 St Stephen By Launceston

Arthur Seccombe's 1st wife was Grace Bligh and the church at North Petherwin has a beautifully carved ledger stone to Grace Seccombe, the wife of Arthur, who died in 1619,
