Layered Salad
Layer:
1. Spinach (10 oz)
dash of salt & pepper
2. 6 chopped hard boiled eggs
3. 1/2 lb sliced ham
4. sliced fresh mushrooms
5. small head of lettuce
dash of salt & pepper
6. water chestnuts
7. olives (green or black)
8. 10 oz. frozen peas (thawed)
9. Red Bermuda onions
10. Mixture of 2 c mayonnaise and 1 c sour cream.
Sprinkle on top parmesan, grated mild cheese, bacon and sliced almonds. Let stand in the refrigerator for 24 hours to give the flavors a chance to blend.
If you do not care for an ingredient leave it out or substitute another ingredient. Crab instead of ham is yummy.
