Trinity 158 mi 3h39m. Trinty ( Which is at the end of the Chiwawa River Road) was a large copper mine settlement and died out in about 1938, which was about the time " Holden" really sprang to life. Many of the miners bailed and left for the holden copper mine. Today m, not uch remains in Trinity , but a few cabins, one cool power plant built in 1928 which still is in use today, and a large baren which contains on old " Bowling Alley" Greg is the caretaker there today and town is in private hands.

Ore Was Then Barged To Chelan And Loaded On Rail To Be Smelted In Tacoma. The Old Town Site Is Now Owned And Operated By The Lutheran Church And Folks Can Sign Up To Stay. Great Views And Lots Of History Still In This Awesome Mining Area. WWI ... Holden mine 212 million pounds of copper. Town buildings now house the Lutheran retreat center, Holden Village. Accessible only via boat? (at least the retreat is)

Lucerne -- Small Ghost Town 37 Miles Up lake Chelan. Now Home To A Campground , Forest Service Station And A Few Of the Old Cabins Which The Boating Club Now Keeps Up. Old Molson was established in 1900, and lasted until about 1905 when land title problems made the town relocate a half-mile to the north, and New Molson was founded. Hanford -- ("Hanford townsite") Hanford was platted in 1907 on land purchased in 1905 by the Priest Rapids Irrigation and Power Company. The townsite is located on the present day Hanford Nuclear Reservation in the approximate location of the 100F area. Access is by "special permission only". Today, the only evidence that the town of Hanford existed is the shell of the old Hanford High School. The school, which was built in 1916, went from 9th through 12th grade and saw its last graduating class in 1942.

Havillah (Okanogan) Founded in 1903, this class D gristmilling town was about 13 miles southwest of Chesaw, in the northeast part of the county. A church and a school were also built, and still remain (August 2009).
GOLD HILL (Okanogan) Near Loomis, which is 13 miles west of Ellisford. Ellisford is on US 97, 11 miles south of Oroville. The overgrown site is located on a four-wheel-drive trail.
