Apple Crisp

4 c apples
1/2 c water
1 t cinnamon
7 T butter
1 c sugar
3/4 c flour
Slice apples into thin slices. Place in buttered baking dish. Add water and cinnamon. Work together butter, sugar, and flour. Pour mixture over apple slices. Bake in slow oven (325ºF) about 45 minutes. Serve with whipped cream while still warm.
