January 1, 2024: No Meeting - Winter Break
January 8, 2024: Installation of 2024 LCBA Officers and Executive Council
Topic: All are welcome to witness and congratulate the 2024 LCBA Officers and Executive Council on their elections and installations. The highlight is the annual Penny Pouch Ceremony between the outgoing and incoming Presidents. The Penny Pouch is the traditional symbol of the transfer of authority of the Presidency since the LCBA's founding. Contained in the Penny Pouch are pennies, and each penny has been placed by the outgoing President representing the year of his/her service.
