Toledo Law and the Public Interest Law Association (PILA) are proud to offer Toledo Law students our Public Interest Summer Fellowship Program.

This program has been a part of the Toledo Law experience for 15 years and has served as the starting point for many graduates' public interest careers. Fellows have dedicated themselves to public service in such areas as environmental justice, domestic violence, human trafficking, consumer advocacy, criminal defense, public benefits, family law and international human rights.

PILA created the Public Interest Law Fellowship Fund to support Toledo Law students as they work in public interest or governmental organizations across the country. Students have served in cities from Washington D.C. to Alaska, while others have made an impact right here in our local community.

Since the program’s inception, 77 students have been awarded public interest fellowships due to the generosity of our alumni, friends and students. Now, more than ever, we see the great need for students to work in the area of public interest. To meet this need, PILA is holding a virtual Fellowship Fundraiser to carry on its annual tradition of raising funds for Toledo Law students.

Our virtual fundraiser ends Feb. 28, so make a gift and share this initiative before it closes!

With appreciation,
The Public Interest Law Association
