January 2, 2023: No Meeting - Winter Break
January 9, 2023: Installation of 2023 LCBA Officers and Executive Council
The highlight is the annual Penny Pouch Ceremony between the retiring and incoming Presidents, Hon. Jack Puffengerger and James O'Brien, respectively. The Penny Pouch is the traditional symbol of the the transfer of authority of the Presidency since the LCBA's founding. Contained in the Penny Pouch are pennies, and each penny has been placed by the outgoing President representing the year of his/her service.

Membership: Membership dues and renewals are always accepted. Membership runs January 1 to December 31. Annual dues are a bargain at only $30. Please contact the Treasurer with questions about your membership status.

New members are welcome year-round. If you are voted into membership between January 1 and August 31, your dues of $30 are waived for the current calendar year. If you are voted into membership between September 1 and December 31, your dues of $30 must accompany your application and will cover the remaining calendar year and subsequent calendar year.

The monthly programs are posted on our website, Facebook and LinkedIn; included in the Toledo Bar Association newsletter's event listings; and distributed to members via Google Groups email.
