Monthly Greek Luncheons May 11, 2017 to August 10, 2017

Some have requested continuing the LCBA camaraderie during the summer hiatus from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  While there are no speakers planned during the summer hiatus, LCBA members are always encouraged to continue networking and enjoying each others' company over a delicious meal, and Georgio's Cafe International remains an excellent option for that.

We also know many of you enjoy Greek food while you are networking, so we are sharing with you another option as you plan your summer lunch calendar with business associates and friends.  You can even arrange to reserve a conference room for your meeting during lunch.

WHERE: Downtown Toledo (corner of Cherry and Summit Streets -- across from WTOL).  Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral Community Center, 740 N. Superior St.,Toledo, OH 43604 (419-243-9189).  Free parking available - entrances off Summit St.

WHEN:  2nd Thursday of each month from May 11, 2017 to August 10, 2017. Dine in or carry out lunch is available from 11:30-2:00 pm.

WHAT:  Cost is $9. Lunches include Greek salad, bread, coffee or iced tea.  Greek pastries, pop and bottled water will be for sale.

May 11, 2017 - Chicken Oregano with Roasted Potatoes and Greek Style Green Beans

June 8, 2017 - Souvlaki (Shish-ke-bab) with Rice Pilaf and Spanakopita (Spinach Pie)

July 13, 2017 - Beef or Chicken Gyros on Pita Bread with Fries

August 10, 2017 - Greek Platter -  Tiropita  (Cheese Pie), Pastichio (Greek  Lasagna) and Dolmathes (Stuffed Grape Leaves)
