Here's an interesting history lesson for us to ponder.
Thank you to Randall C. Dixon, Esq., 2011-2015 President of the Toledo Bar Association and Past President of the Lucas County Bar Association, for bring to our attention the attached "Attorneys' Fee Guide." This 1966 joint publication of the Toledo Bar Association and the Lucas County Bar Association was short lived, as it was promptly withdrawn once concerns over illegal price fixing were brought to light.
The historical document is not an endorsement by either the TBA or the LCBA for attorneys' fees; rather, it is provided as an interesting part of the LCBA's history. Much has changed in the 50 years since it was published -- and some things have not.
The 1966 Attorneys' Fee Guide published by the TBA and the LCBA is found on the Resources tab of this website. Happy reading.
