Ingredients
2 cups Fresh mint leaves, chopped coarsely
1 1/2 cups Sugar, disolved in one cup water
4 cups 80 proof vodka, (1 quart)
few drops Green food coloring, (optional)
Preparation
Put leaves in a large jar and cover with vodka.
Let steep for 48 hours. (2 full days)
Strain the mint leaves out of the vodka and discard the leaves.
Boil the sugar and the water until the sugar is completely dissolved. Cook and mix with the strained mint & vodka.
