3/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Water
1/4 cup Butter
1 each Egg
2 3/4 cups Bread flour
2 tbsp Sugar
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Active dry yeast
Warm milk, water and butter in microwave until slightly warm to the touch. Add egg to liquid mixture beating to incorporate. Add yeast and proof mixture.
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar and salt. Add liquid ingredients and mix thoroughly. Turn dough out floured surface and kneed until smooth.
Place dough in buttered bowl, cover and set in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour. Punch down dough, divide into 12 pieces. Roll dough between floured hands into a ball shape and place on a cookie sheet. Let the rolls rise again until doubled in size.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 20 minutes or until rolls are golden brown.
