Ingredients
2 pounds Ground beef or turkey
2 small Onions, chopped
1 each Green pepper, chopped
1 large Jalapeno, chopped
1 28 oz can Tomato sauce
1 28 oz can Rotel Tomatoes with green chiles, original flavor
2 tbsp Cumin
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp Paprika
1/4 cup Brown sugar, packed
1 cup Water
3 tbsp Butter
1 14 oz can Kidney beans, if you like beans in your chili
1 14 oz can Black beans, if you like beans in your chili
Preparation
Brown ground beef or turkey, with onions and peppers in dutch oven. Drain excess grease and add tomatoes, seasonings, brown sugar and water, bring to a boil. Add beans, if you like beans in your chili, cover, reduce heat to low and simmer for 2 hours. When the chili is done, stir in butter and serve.
