Circle B Sweet and Spicy Party Wings

Circle B Kitchen

Serves 4 as an appetizer

2 lbs wings (cut in pieces, if desired -see blog photos)

¼ cup balsamic vinegar

2 tablespoons soy sauce

¼ cup honey

2 tablespoons sriracha sauce (or to taste)

1/3 cup flour

2 tablespoons cornstarch

Salt and pepper

Blue cheese or ranch dip for serving

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with Pam.

Place about 1/3 cup flour and 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in a paper bag. Shake to combine. Add the wings and shake to completely coat.

Dump the wings into a wire mesh strainer and shake off all of the excess flour.

Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake the wings for 15 minutes and then turn them and sprinkle with more salt. Return the wings to the oven for another 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, honey and sriracha sauce. Remove the wings from the oven and place in a large bowl. Pour most of the sauce over the wings to coat well and place them back on the baking sheet. Bake for about 15 or 20 more minutes, turning and basting until they’re dark and the sauce has caramelized. Serve warm or room temperature with the dip of your choice.
