The Power of Two
Alternate Names
No. of Players
Two
Equipment
A Power of Two board and sixteen each of black and white counters, which have differently marked forward and reverse sides, are required for play.
History
The Power of Two was invented by Arthur Blumberg and published by Kadon Enterprises in the year 2000.
Objective
The objective of both players is to be the first player to bring all of one's counters onto the board. A very rarely seen win position arises when one player is not able to make a complete move (moving plus placing), because of excessive overpopulation. Some foresight can prevent such an outcome. It need not even be inflicted deliberately by the other player. The board has sufficient pathways to make purposeful entrapment unlikely.
