Equipment
A Beeline board and three each of black and white counters, called bees, are required for play.
History
Beeline was created by Jim Winslow. It was featured on the cover of the March 2006 edition of Games Magazine.
Objective
A player wins by getting all three of his bees next to any one of his opponent’s bees.
Play
Counters are positioned as above. Alternate turns entail a move of one bee in a straight line in any of six directions to the farthest vacant cell it can reach without leaving the board. A player may not move a bee next to all three opponent’s bees.
Strategy
Variations
The Swarm Option says that at the end of any turn a player may declare that starting with opponent’s next turn, each player will make two moves per turn. The two moves may be made with the same bee or with different bees.
