Equipment

Typically, the Knight's Tour is played on the cells of a regular 8x8 square grid, but many different sizes of boards have been used to present other mathematical conundrums. A single counter is all that is required for play, and this is typically the knight from a chess set, but any counter can be used. A player may also find it useful to have counters to keep track of which cells have been used and then an additional 64 counters would be required. In the modern era, Knight's Tour is more often played on a computer.
