An 8x8 square grid and 10 each of black and white counters are required for play. A special board, without the four corner areas and denoting white and black's goal areas could be devised.

History

Network was invented by Sid Sackson and published in his book, A Gamut of Games, in 1969.

Objective

A player's objective is to complete a "network" joining his two goal areas.
