Equipment
A Hexma board and twelve each of black and white counters are required for play. It seems to originally have been a simple variation on the objective of Chinese Checkers and played on a standard Chinese Checkers board, but can also be played on its own board, as described here.
History
Hexma was invented by Cameron Browne.
Objective
The winner completes an unbroken chain of their counters connecting their initial side and the opponent’s initial side.
Play
Alternate turns entail a player moving one of their own counters as in Chinese Checkers: they may move to an any adjacent vacant cell in any direction or they may jump over a counter of either color to an immediately opposite vacant cell, also in any direction. There are no captures and jumps may be multiple but are not compulsory.
