  • Focus on (Naikan) questions 1 & 2

  • Make sushi for loved one

    • Break down into separate elements - nori, rice, other ingredients and talk about the origins and chain of events that created the ingredient

  • Discuss what the student receives from their parents

  • Making the sushi as a gift for their parent

  • Provoke the idea of what I (student) needed to receive in order to make the sushi

  • For question 3, discuss waste, mess created by making sushi
