Aims

To develop knowledge and skills in a range of Digital Technologies with a key focus on the design and development of web pages and web based apps.   

Course Content

Most of today's digital content is provided through web sites and web applications.  Learners will learn the process of designing and developing digital content, with a focus web and app development, through building knowledge and skills in the following areas:

Digital Technologies are transforming and shaping how we live. Studying digital technologies develops the computational thinking, problem-solving and critical thinking skills that are necessary for innovation and intervention in the world by design.  In addition, studying Digital Technologies:

In class assessments, school examinations.

This course may include 1 NCEA standard, either an internal or an external. To be confirmed at the beginning of the 2024 school year.

Prior knowledge required
