Course Content

Year 11 French is designed to equip you with the language that you would need if you were to go on a school exchange to France. Over the year we will study the following topics and you will create a portfolio of your interactions for your internal assessment.  You will also work on creating written and spoken work as well as working on understanding of written and spoken language in authentic contexts.

Assessment 

In class assessments, school examinations. Students have the opportunity to sit the DELF examination. 

This course may include 1 NCEA standard, either an internal or an external. To be confirmed at the beginning of the 2024 school year.

Prior knowledge acquired through Year 10 French or equivalent
