NCEA Level 2 Painting
Aims
To develop confidence and ability in producing artworks towards a chosen area of study
Course Content
Learners develop in-depth knowledge via guided and individualised study of relevant historical and contemporary painting art practice. Learners investigate and use a range of conventions via analysis of selected artist models in the production of an individual a body of work submitted for examination.

Thematic project work: Internal and external examination
