Content
Dance Choreography - Selects and uses choreographic devices, structures, processes and technologies to develop and give form to dance ideas
Dance Performance - Prepares, rehearses and performs a range of dances and demonstrates an understanding of the performance requirements of the genres and contexts
Dance Performance - Develops and demonstrates skills in selected dance genres and styles and explores the use of a variety of technologies
Dance Perspectives - Explores, investigates and describes the features and backgrounds of a variety of dance genres and styles

In class assessments, school examinations
This course may include 1 NCEA standard, either an internal or an external. To be confirmed at the beginning of the 2024 school year.

Comfortable dance gear is essential to move freely in this class - PE Gear or Dance Gear and gym shoes/canvas/jazz shoes are necessary course equipment.
A computer and a visual diary are useful tools in this learning environment.
