The availability of this course in 2024 will be dependant on the number of interested students and available staffing. Learners selecting this course should also identify an alternative course if Year 11 Te Reo is not available next year.

Course Content
Over the year you will study the various topics and work towards either an internal or external assessment standard. You will also develop skills needed for NCEA Level 2 Te Reo Māori internal and external assessment. You will work on creating written and spoken work, as well as working on understanding of written and spoken language in authentic contexts.
Assessment
In class assessments, school examinations. This course may include 1 NCEA standard, either an internal or an external. To be confirmed at the beginning of the 2024 school year.
Prior knowledge required
Prior knowledge required is acquired through Year 10 Te Reo or equivalent
