NCEA Level 2 Financial Mathematics
Aim
This course is intended for learners who have not always found the study of mathematics easy. The course develops a student's ability to use mathematics in real life contexts with a clear focus on personal finance. This course allows learners to continue on to NCEA Level 3 Financial Mathematics when studying for NCEA Level 3.

Designing statistical questionnaires
Applying network methods
Evaluating insurance products
Producing budgets for individuals
The effect of life events on personal finance
Assessment
There are a variety of assessment tasks. There will be no externally assessed standards in this course.

Full course completion - 17 credits at NCEA Level 2
