Aim 

This course is intended for learners who have gained all credits in Level 2 Pure Mathematics. The material has applications in the science world and in finance.

Assessment 

There are a variety of assessment tasks and school examinations. Externally assessed topics are examined nationally at the end of the year.

Full course completion - 21 credits in NCEA Level 3 Calculus

Prior knowledge required

All credits in NCEA Level 2 Pure Mathematics, including Merit or higher in at least one of 2.6 Algebra or 2.7 Calculus
