IQAC Meeting - Stakeholders Unite to Shape the Future

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya convened its meeting on 30th May 2026 under the chairmanship of Prof. N. Bharathi, Principal and IQAC Chairperson. The meeting focused on reviewing institutional progress and approving the proposed activities for the odd semester of the academic year 2026–27, along with deliberations on several key academic and quality enhancement initiatives.

The meeting was graced by distinguished external members, including Dr. B. H. Suresh, Retired Professor of Commerce, University of Mysore; Prof. H. S. Nagendraswamy, Department of Studies in Computer Science Manasagangothri; Smt. Smitha Devaiah B, Advocate, Law Lexicon Law Firm; Sri Raghavendra Kulkarni, Parent Teacher Association President; Dr. M. K. Usha, President of the Alumni Association and Miss Gangashree M., Student Council President. Their valuable insights and suggestions enriched the discussions and reinforced the institution’s commitment to continuous quality improvement.

The proceedings commenced with the presentation of the Minutes of the Previous Meeting and the Action Taken Report (ATR) by Smt. K. S. Sukrutha, IQAC Coordinator. This was followed by a comprehensive review of the achievements of the previous semester and an overview of the planned initiatives for the upcoming semester, presented by Prof. N. Bharathi.

Members lauded the dedicated efforts of the faculty and students in achieving academic and co-curricular milestones. Constructive suggestions were offered to further strengthen teaching-learning processes, student engagement, industry collaboration and quality assurance practices.

The programme began with a welcome address by Smt. Atiya Sameen M. P., Head and Assistant Professor, Department of Microbiology. The event was compered by Smt. Chaithra N., Head, Department of Mathematics, while the meeting concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Vinoda, Head and Associate Professor, Department of Kannada.
