On 25/01/2023 Student Faculty Program was Organized for II BCA Student by Chinmayi K U, III BCA student on the topic “Tune Model Hyper parameters & Neural Network Regression – Azure Machine Learning” of Artificial Intelligence.

ELISA or Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is an immunoassay technique utilized to detect diseases. The principle of ELISA is antigen(infectious agent)-antibody(Immune protein) interaction.

Thestudents got to explore steps and conduct experiments individually under the guidance of Ms Smitha Grace , Asst Professor, Mahajanas PG centre. Students were involved in the experiment, graph plotting and use of instrument. They were also involved in solving puzzles and quiz related to PCR and ELISA. 

Workshop and hands on training on PCR and ELISA was organized by Dept of Biotechnology, MMK & SDM MahilaMahavidyalaya in association with Mahajanas PG centre, Mysore for final year Biotechnology students on January 30th and 31st, 2023.

District Level Intercollegiate Lecture series on “BIOPATH – The current Approach of Phytochemicals &Nanomaterials in Traditional Medicine” & Poster  Expo as part of National Youth Day celebration, organized by Dept of Biotechnology & IQAC , MMK & SDM MahilaMahavidyalaya on January 19th 2023.

on 27th January 2023, III BCA students attended an assessment for Cyber Security for Education and Students - Stage 2 - A CSR initiative Microsoft Philanthropies implemented by ICT Academyhosted by Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with Department of Computer Science

On 24th January, 2023, Ms.Vidya M R Assistant Professor of Commerce and Management Dept and  15 students of 3rd B.Com and 10 students of 3rd BBA have participated in E- Commerce and Digital Marketing Training Program for Women Entrepreneurs at Skanray Technologies, Hebbal, Mysore  

NSS Unit and SWO Committee organized National Sarvodaya Day Program on 30.01.2023 

On 25/01/2023 Department of Computer Science organized an extension activity "Internet awareness program" for the students of Government high school, Lakshmipuram. Students and Staff of the college trained 20 students on uses of Internet technology 

On 25th January, 2023, Inauguration of Legal Literacy Committee was Organised.

On 23.1.2023- Visit to IDP Education India Pvt Ltd , Gokulam, Mysore. Around 66 BCA, BSC,BCOM,BBA students interacted with counsellors of IDP wherein they got information regarding Education in Abroad ( Canada Universities )

Tech Amateur IT Club of Computer Science Department in association with Science and Nature Club organised three day E-Waste Drive in the college to give awareness on E-Waste Management through proper disposal of the E-Waste. Students of IT Club and Science and Nature Club collected the E-Waste from staff and students of the college.

On 13/1/2023- Career Guidance and Placement Cell organized a session on the topic Career Opportunities in Abroad for Final Year UG Students

11/01/2024 - Smt K S Sukrutha organized Interdisciplinary Lecture Programme by Smt Rajarajeshwari R on the topic "Microbes in your drinks- Check what your drink" for I BCA students. No. Of students attended - 67

The department of physics organized a field visit to CREST(Centre for Renewable Energy & Sustainable Technologies),NIE,Mysore for Physics Open Elective students of I B.Com & BBA  on 5-1-2023. 

On 4/01/2023 - Inauguration of 4 days Personality Development Programme was held. The programme is for all Second year students which covers the topics leadership, assertiveness, integrity, self confidence & motivation, creativity, adaptability, positivity and optimism. Programme is organized for the benefit of the students. 

On 4/01/2023 Department of Computer Science organized an Alumni Faculty Programme by alumnus Smt. Yeshaswini Bhadari K R(2008-11 batch), Assistant Professor in Computer Science, Department of Computer Applications, De Paul First Grade College, Srirangapatna Taluk, Mandya on the topic "Exception Handling in JAVA" to II BSc Students 

Kum Keerthana G of II BCom B has won third prize in Inter college classical dance competition , which was held from 8-12-2022 to 10-12-2022, conducted by University of Mysore
