Students of Legal Literacy Club visited Consumer Forum, Mysore on 28 February 2019.

Science Exhibition was organized in the College to commemorate National Science Day on 28th February 2019. Chief guest. Dr Gnanesh Nanjappa, Ramanujan Fellow Scientist , Central Sericultural Research and Training Institute inaugurated the Science Exhibition.Students from all the Science departments exhibited the science models. Following exhibition models won special appreciation prizes: Voice Controlled Robot using Bluetooth Technology,fire extinguisher,Identification of Polymer through smell & Stink bug trap.

MMK & SDM College Fest “Saptaziva 2k19” was conducted in our College on 27/02/2019. Seven Different inter collegiate competitions were conducted and nearly 125 students from different colleges of Mysore City participated in the event. Eminent judges were invited from different colleges. The fest was organized by the Students’ Welfare, Literary, and Cultural committees. The overall Trophy was won by Competitors of Kaveri college ,Mysore . Mr Shriharsha, Zee SaReGaMaPa Fame Versatile Singer and Assistant Professor MIT College Mysore was the Chief guest for valedictory function.

Students of II BCA attended one day training program on Data Communication at Regional Telecom Training Center(RTTC), TK Layout, Mysore on 26th February 2019.

Students of final year BtBM visited Central Coffee Research Institute, at Balehonnuru, Chikkamagaluru District on February 26, 2019-organised by Department of Biotechnology.

A special program on "yoga therapy and meditation" by Dr.A.R.Seetharam, founder ,director, Paramahamsa yoga therapy center, Mysore was organised for II B.sc students by women development cell on 25/02/2019.

Students of final year Bt.B.M, participated in SPACE (Students Participation in Agriculture and Caring Environment) program of Global Association of Scientific Young Minds, GASYM, Mysuru in association with Department of Biotechnology, MMK and SDM, Mysuru on 25th Feb 2019.

Interdisciplinary program by Reethu Gowramma, Lecturer ,department of commerce, MMK & SDM Girls PU college Mysuru, on the topic "banking" was organized for second BSc PCM students, on 25/2/2019 by the department of Chemistry.

Students of III BCA attended a week long training program on Broadband Technology at Regional Telecom Training Center, TK Layout, Mysore from 18th February 2019 to 23rd February 2019.

Prof Sainath Malligemadu gave a special talk on " Women Protection and Law" to Legal literacy students on 23rd February 2019

Parent-Teacher Interaction was successfully held on 23rd Feb 2019.

Pencil sketch exhibition based on English syllabus was organized by the department of English in association with literary committee on 23rd Feb 2019.

Project Exhibition by final year students was organized by Department of Electronics to the students of I and II B SC students on 22nd February 2019.

Guest Lecture on the topic "Pattern Recognition and it's Applications" by Dr. M. Mahadeva Prasad, DOS in Electronics,Hemagangothri PG center, UOM, Hassan was organized by Department of Electronics at SDMMMK on 20th Feb 2019.

University level seminar on "Gandhi and Swamy Vivekananda's thoughts - relevance of youth" was organized by NSS unit and Kannada department of our College in association with University NSS wing on 19-02-2019.

Pick & speak competition was organized to all the Hindi learning students by the department of Hindi under literary committee on 19th February 2019.

A visit to optical laboratory at JSS PG centre,Mysore was organised to II BSc students by Department of Physics on 14th February 2019.

A special talk on "Transmission Lines" was delivered by Smt.G.R.Sumithra,Hod of Electronics to III B.SC Students of Marimallappa FGC, Mysore on 14th February 2019 .

Around 15 students of II and III B. SC (Electronics) participated in state level Intercollegiate competition held at Jyothi Nivas Autonomous college, Bangalore on 13th February 2019 .They bagged First prize in Robotic Dance, Second Prize in Pot Pouri and Third prize in Project Exhibition events.

Around 100 Final Year students attended Campus Drive conducted by Hinduja Global Solutions(HGS) on 12th February 2019. 45 students have been short listed in the campus drive.

A discourse on "Importance of Electronics in UG" was delivered by G R Sumithra, Hod of Electronics, to the students of second PUC, MMK and SDM PU College, Mysore on 11 February.

One Day National Level Seminar on “Emerging Trends in Commerce and Management” was organised by Department of Commerce & Management, PG Studies in Commerce & IQAC on 11^th February 2019. The Seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Y.S.Siddegowda, Vice- Chancellor, Tumkur University and Keynote Address was delivered by Dr.K.Devaraj, Former Director, SDM PG Centre for Management Studies & Research, Mangalore. Prof.Sainath Malligemadu, Principal, MMK & SDM MMV,Mysuru presided over the function.

Extension program was organised for high School students of Bhagini Seva Samithi, Mysuru by Department of Physics on 7th February 2019.

Kumari Shwetha Krishna lll BBA, NSS volunteer from SDMMMK participated in State level Youth Parliament Program organised by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science Bangalore and NSS Regional center Bangalore on 06-02-2019.
