On December 3, 2024, the Science and Nature Club of MMK and SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya made a significant ontribution to wildlife conservation by adopting two animals—a Green Anaconda and a Meerkat—at the Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens. This noble initiative, amounting to ₹40,000, was made possible through the generous contributions of students, staff, and the SDME management. The adoption not only enriches the zoo’s biodiversity but also underscores the commitment of the educational institutions towards fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of wildlife.

The P.G. Department of Commerce organized a one-week soft skill training program in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation for all M.Com students, spanning from the inauguration on December 4, 2024, to the valedictory on December 13, 2024. The sessions, presided over by the principal Prof. Bharathi N. The sessions combined both practical and theoretical components to provide a comprehensive learning experience. On December 13, 2024, a mock interview was conducted, engaging 68 M.Com students in a realistic job interview scenario. The program culminated with the distribution of certificates by Magic Bus India Foundation, recognizing the participants' efforts and achievements.
The P.G. Department of Commerce organizing a comprehensive 32-hour add-on certificate course in the Spirit of Yoga & Fitness for all M.Com students. The program was inaugurated on December 18, 2024, by Mr. Ravanikar H.M, an international Yoga coach and referee from the University of Mysore. The event was presided over by Prof. Bharathi N, the principal of the college. The program coordination was handled by Dr. Devaki K.K, Mrs. Malthi, and Mrs. Amritha P. Nayak, Assistant Professors of the college. A total of 68 M.Com students will be participating in this enriching course, which aims to foster both physical and mental well-being.

On 21st December 2024, the college's Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) meeting was conducted under the leadership of Principal Prof. N. Bharathi, the Chairman of IQAC. The meeting addressed various agendas, requesting approval for the various activities to be conducted in the odd semester of the academic year 2024-25.
The meeting was attended by external members Dr. B.H. Suresh, Retired Professor of Commerce at the University of Mysore; Smt. Smitha Devaiah, a local advocate; Smt Poojana Sreenivasa, Manager - H R, Maveric Systems Limited, Bangalore Sri Parameshwara H.M., President of the Parent-Teacher Association; and Miss Thashvi Gangamma K.C., President of the Student Council.
The meeting began with Smt. Sukrutha K.S., the IQAC Coordinator, presenting the minutes of the previous meeting and the Action Taken Report. Prof N Bharathi, Principal presented the activities and achievements of the odd semester of the academic year 2024-25. The distinguished members appreciated the activities and achievements of the staff and students. They also provided various suggestions and feedback aimed at enhancing the college's quality. Dr. Wethro Kapfo, Head of the Biochemistry Department, welcomed the attendees, Smt. Ramya S.K., Assistant Professor of Computer Science, offered the vote of thanks, and Smt. Brunda R., Head of the English Department, served as the Master of Ceremony.

Professor N Bharathi, the Principal, presented an overview of the college's activities, achievements and developments to the LIC Committee. The committee appreciated the activities, achievements of staff and students and also appreciated the facilities given to the students at the Institution.
