Under Animal adoption scheme of Sri Jayachamarajendra Zoological garden Mysuru, our College took initiative & adopted Grey parrot, Finch , Love Bird, White peacock & Leopard cat on 12th June 2020.

Sajjath, Associate Professor of English, Govt Automonus Science College Bengaluru was the Resource person.
Ms. Tejashree of II B.Com, a Scouts & Guides(Rangers) volunteer successfully completed Project Sankalp, Online Scouting & Guiding project Udaan & Project iGOT-online training to fight against COVID-19. She rendered her service as corona warrior in Government Hospital, Nanjangud & volunteeed SSLC examination at Citizens School, Nanjangud. She has been featured in BSG COVID 19 WARRIORS REPORT[20th June 2020, Southern Region edition] and digital E-paper SCOUTING WAVES[Volume 1,Issue 20].
World Environment Day was celebrated by planting medicinal saplings in the College Campus organised by Science & Nature Club on 5th June 2020. Students too supported this initiative by planting a sapling at their residence.

Student’s Participation in Agriculture and Caring Environment (SPACE) an eco-centric program organized by the Department of biotechnology, MMK and SDM in association with GASYM engaging various resource persons in educating students of III biotechnology, on March 01, 2020 about environmental health and quality. The purpose of SPACE program was to motivate the students to improve the quality of ecosystem, aid the students to gain knowledge, skills for ornithological study and for the improvement and to motivate the students to manage and to take up responsibility for maintaining the quality of the environment and agriculture.
31 students from III Bt.B.M were benefited by the event and given very satisfactory feedback.
