The Department of Computer Science hosted an insightful guest lecture on "Face Recognition Using AI," aimed at deepening students' understanding of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Computer Vision. The session highlighted essential elements of AI-driven applications, including data collection, processing, and engineering.
Mr. Shiavaprasad D. L., an Assistant Professor at MIT College, Mysore, delivered the lecture on March 17, 2025. The event was graced by Smt. K S Sukrutha, Head of the Department of Computer Science, along with faculty members and 66 final-year students from BCA and B.Sc. programs.
The speaker explored the significance of face recognition and biometrics in security and authentication, showcasing practical applications of the technology. Students were also encouraged to brainstorm project ideas involving face recognition technology. The session was highly engaging, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of AI applications and techniques for problem-solving.
The Department of Biochemistry organized a guest lecture on the topic "Advances in Nanotechnology" on 24th March 2025. The resource person for the event was Dr. Shankramma K, Assistant Professor from the Department of Nanoscience and Technology at JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research.
During the session, students were introduced to the fascinating field of nanotechnology, including recent research advancements and developments in the domain. As this topic was new to the students, the lecture provided them with fresh insights into cutting-edge innovations and techniques. The students were particularly captivated by the practical applications of nanoscience in the real world, such as its use in medicine, energy, and material science.

The Valedictory function of the two-day intercollegiate fest Prabhigyan 2025 was held on 22nd March, marking the grand conclusion of an inspiring event. The occasion was honored by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Rajath Kishan G, a celebrated actor and contestant from BigBoss Kannada Season 11, along with the Special Guest, Mr. Abhishek Das, a renowned actor and model. Prof. Nayanakumari, Principal of MMK & SDM Girls PU College, graced the event as the Guest of Honour.
The function was presided over by Prof. N. Bharathi, Principal of MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, and witnessed the presence of notable dignitaries like Smt. Prabhigyan 2025, a two-day intercollegiate fest, brought together a vibrant mix of talent, creativity, and intellectual vigor. The first day focused on Science and Commerce management activities, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their analytical skills and innovative approaches. The second day was dedicated to cultural and literary competitions, creating a dynamic platform for artistic expression, storytelling, and performance.
The Chief Guest and Special Guest distributed cash prizes and certificates to all the winners and runners-up. Yuvaraja’s College, Mysuru clinched the coveted Champion Trophy, celebrating their victory with joy and enthusiasm.

From thought-provoking intellectual events to vibrant cultural performances, Prabhigyan 2025 fostered a spirit of learning, healthy competition, and unforgettable memories, supported enthusiastically by faculty and coordinators.
On 17th March 2025, the MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya organized a Consumer Rights Awareness Program at Shakti Dhama, Women Rehabilitation Center, Mysore, as part of its extension activity. The event was coordinated by Assistant Professors Suprada Jain M and Divyashree R from the Department of Commerce, aimed to educate school students on consumer rights and promote awareness about consumer protection laws.
The program featured a street play that depicted real-life consumer issues such as faulty products, misleading advertisements, and unfair business practices. Through humor and dramatic scenarios, it emphasized essential consumer rights, including the right to safety, the right to be informed, and the right to seek redress. Following the street play, a PowerPoint presentation explained the Consumer Protection Act, providing practical tips on addressing consumer issues, lodging complaints, and utilizing forums and regulatory bodies.
Suprada Jain enriched the session by sharing her expertise on how students can effectively exercise their consumer rights and highlighted the significance of consumer protection laws. Her insights offered students a deeper understanding of the importance of being informed consumers. The program successfully raised awareness and encouraged responsible consumer behavior among the participants.
Mysuru: Noted columnist Kusuma Ayarahalli gave a clarion call for women to step out of the box and develop an identity of her own, suiting the present genre. Addressing the gathering at the inauguration of Prabhigyan- 2025 2 Days Cultural Fest, organised by MMK and SDM Women’s College, in the city, Kusuma said, apart from women’s empowerment, the women can become self-reliant in this 21st century, when the purpose of making women a formidable force comes into fruition.
Prof. Nayanakumari, Principal of MMK and SDM Girls' PU College, graced the event as the honorary guest. She emphasized that in today’s competitive world, active participation holds greater significance and extended her best wishes to the students.
Presiding over the program, Principal Prof. N. Bharathi highlighted the importance of young minds embracing knowledge and moving from darkness to light. She urged the youth to cultivate a sense of responsibility towards safeguarding the nation, making use of knowledge and information in this rapidly advancing 21st century.

ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಲೇಖಕಿಯಾದ ಉಷಾ ನರಸಿಂಹನ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯು ಬಹಳ ಹಿಂದಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿ ಇಂದು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವಲ್ಲದೆ ಸೃಜನೇತರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವು ಉಂಟು ಅದರ ಕಡೆಯೂ ಗಮನ ನೀಡುವುದು ಒಳಿತು. ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದಂತಹ ಪುಸ್ತಕದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗತಿಗಳು ಇಂದು ಇಲ್ಲ ಆಕಾಶವಾಣಿ ದೂರದರ್ಶನ ನಂತರ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಬಂದು ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಓದುವ ಹವ್ಯಾಸ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

On International Women's Day, March 8, 2025, the Staff Welfare Committee of MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidhyalaya organized an expert talk on "Bach Flower Therapy" for the teaching and non-teaching staff. The program featured Mrs. Swarna Gowri Govindraj, a counselor from Manipal Hospital, Mysore, as the esteemed resource person.
Mrs.Govindraj provided an insightful overview of Bach Flower Therapy, describing it as a complementary and alternative medicine system that utilizes diluted flower essences to address emotional imbalances, aiming to promote emotional and mental well-being by restoring harmony.
The event was presided over by Prof. N Bharathi, Principal of the College, alongside Dr. Devaki K.K., the Staff Welfare Coordinator.
On March 17, 2025, the Youth Red Cross and Rangers & Rovers units of MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya successfully organized a Campus Cleaning Program. The initiative focused on maintaining a clean and hygienic environment while fostering sustainability and environmental awareness. It also aimed to enhance campus aesthetics, promote community engagement, and encourage a sense of responsibility among participants.
The program highlighted several objectives, including reducing waste, promoting recycling, improving public health and safety, boosting campus pride and morale, and minimizing environmental impact. By bringing together students and coordinators, it sought to instill valuable lessons on environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
A total of 50 students actively participated in the program under the guidance of Mr. Syed Sadath, Youth Red Cross Coordinator, and Smt. Malathi, Rangers Coordinator
On March 12, 2025, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell organized an insightful guest lecture on the topic "Overseas Education and Opportunities", in collaboration with Alzato Overseas Education, Mysuru. The program was designed to provide final-year students from all streams with vital information about pursuing higher education abroad.
The session featured Mr. Sudheendra, Business Head at Bhavishya Academy, Mysuru, and Ms. Sowmya Rao, a Soft Skill & Communication Development Trainer, as resource persons. They shared detailed insights into various aspects of studying abroad, including university selection, available courses, scholarships, accommodation facilities, and admissions processes. Their expertise highlighted the immense opportunities awaiting students who aspire to excel on a global platform.
During the program Prof. N Bharathi, Principal, and Mr. Mahadevaswamy S, Coordinator, Career Guidance and Placement Cell were present.
The Department of Biochemistry and IQAC of MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, in collaboration with Mysore Analytical Services, Mysuru, successfully organized a Two-Day Workshop on HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography) for B.Sc BtBM students on 15th and 16th March 2025. This workshop was conducted as part of the MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) between the institutions, reinforcing their commitment to advancing practical knowledge and skill development.
A total of 20 students participated and gained hands-on training in the application and operation of advanced chromatographic techniques, crucial for modern biochemical analysis. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Mahesh VM, CEO and Director of Mysore Analytical Services, whose expertise and insights provided students with a comprehensive understanding of the subject. The students were accompanied by Dr. Wethroe Kapfo, HoD, Department of Biochemistry and Smt. Meghana M, Assistant professor of Biochemistry.
On March 14, 2025, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of MMK and SDM MMV hosted a Guest lecture on the topic “Employment Opportunities and Skills Development” for B.Sc Final UG students. The event was inaugurated by Principal Prof. Bharathi N, accompanied by IQAC Coordinator K.S. Sukrutha, and Placement Officer Mr. Mahadevaswamy S. The resource persons were, Dr. Sudarshan Krishnan, Retd. DFRL Scientist, Dr. Ameen S, HOD, AFMI, Mysore and Prof. Ravi, AFMI, Mysore.
The Guest lecture emphasized the career opportunities and different types of resume preparation. The event was supported by Placement Cell members, including Mr. Niranth M R, Smt. Harshitha Mallik, Smt. Kavya S N, Sri Abhishek, Smt. Ruthu Ramachandra Hegde, and Smt. Amrutha P Nayak.
On February 13, 2025, the Career Guidance and Placement Cell of MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, in partnership with Equalize RCM, organized an impactful Campus Placement Drive for final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students. The event commenced with an inauguration program led by Principal Prof. Bharathi N, alongside IQAC Coordinator K.S. Sukrutha, and Placement Officer Mr. Mahadevaswamy S, and the HR team from Equalize RCM, which included Miss Varsha R, Hamsaveni K.R., and Maheshwari S.
The placement drive featured three stages: an aptitude test, a group discussion, and an HR interview. Out of 200 participating students, 29 achieved successful placements. This initiative was made seamless with the support of dedicated Placement Cell members, including Mr. Niranth M.R., Smt. Harshitha Mallik, Smt. Kavya S.N., Sri Abhishek, Smt. Ruthu Ramachandra Hegde, and Smt. Amrutha P. Nayak.
A Home Management Session was Organized on the topic "Yoga and its Importance" which was presented by Karnataka Yogasana Sports Association on 8th of March 2025.Mr. Mahendra, Yoga Trainer, discussed how the practice of yoga has evolved over years in India.They highlighted that yoga has profound impact on Physical, Mental, and spiritual well-being .Students learnt that regular practice of Yoga enhances flexibility,strength,balances, posture and it also improves cardiovascular health and aids in better sleep quality.
Students engaged in a short meditation practice for a few minutes and learnt some basic meditation techniques like focusing on breath or body sensations. students learnt some common and versatile yoga poses which helped to learn proper body alignment. They learnt the beginner-level pose that strengthens the legs, opens the hips and stretches the chest and shoulders. Total 222 students benefited from this session.

On 14th March 2025, the Legal Literacy Committee (LLC) of MMK and SDM MMV, Mysore, organized an insightful one-day district court visit in Mysore for students. This initiative aimed to provide students with a practical understanding of the judicial system and to expose them to the proceedings of a functioning court. A total of 62 students participated in the visit, and to ensure a comprehensive experience, they were divided into five different teams. Each team attended different courts, where they had the opportunity to observe a variety of legal proceedings and cases.
The courts were dealing with a wide range of cases, including criminal offenses, frauds, cheating, chain-snatching, and various civil disputes, allowing the students to witness firsthand how legal arguments are presented and how decisions are made.
The students were accompanied by Ms. Prathima M, the LLC Coordinator, who ensured the smooth conduct of the visit, and LLC members Ms. Bhargavi HG, Smt. Vidya, Ms. Harshitha, and Ms. Chandana, who guided the students throughout the visit
On 12th March 2025, the Youth Red Cross of MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya organized an essay writing competition. The topics for the competition were "Disaster Preparedness & Relief Work," "First Aid & Emergency Response," and "Role of Youth in Community Service."
A total of 16 students actively participated in the event, showcasing their thoughts and perspectives on these critical subjects. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Syed Sadath, the Youth Red Cross Coordinator, along with Ms.Divyashree, member, and enthusiastic student volunteers who contributed to the smooth conduct of the competition. The participants displayed remarkable creativity and understanding of the topics, and the event served as a platform to promote awareness and encourage youth involvement in social and community service initiatives.
On March 11, 2025, the NSS unit of MMK & SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Mysore, hosted a Blood Stem Cell Awareness and Donor Registration Drive to encourage students to register as potential stem cell donors. The event featured Kruthika Ramesh, Senior Executive at DKMS Foundation India, as the resource person. It was inaugurated by Prof. Bharathi N, Principal, and attended by Smt. Sukrutha KS, IQAC Coordinator, and Smt. Anitha P Jayaram, NSS Coordinator. NSS members Ms. Prathima M and Dr. Arunkumar contributed actively to the event, which resulted in 52 students registering for stem cell donation.
A guest lecture on "Personal Finance Management" was delivered at MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya by Mr. Jayadeva Hiranya, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Management, PES University, RR Campus, Bangalore on March 8, 2025. The lecture aimed to educate students about the importance of managing personal finances effectively, covering topics such as budgeting, savings, investments, and debt management. The speaker emphasized the significance of setting financial goals, understanding income and expenses, and making informed decisions to secure financial stability in the long term.
The session was highly interactive, with students participating in discussions and seeking advice on managing finances while balancing academic and personal responsibilities. Practical tips on budgeting apps, investment strategies, and credit management were shared, providing valuable insights to the students.
The guest lecture was well-received by the students, offering them a deeper understanding of the essential skills required for sound personal finance management. The session concluded with a Q&A segment, allowing students to clarify their doubts and gain further knowledge.
Sri Prashanth Jain H V, Head of the Department of Commerce, was the program coordinator. Ms. Suprada Jain M, Assistant Professor and Ms. Harshitha Mallik, were the co-coordinator of the program.
On 08/03/2025, volunteers from the Entrepreneurship Hub attended an outreach activity on International Women's Day in association with Young India, Mysore Chapter. The event, titled "Breaking the Stigma on Sanitary Pads," was held at DRM Hospital, Vontikoppal, Mysore.
The event was attended by Gagan Ranka, Chair of Yi Mysuru; Priyanka Sridhar, Co-Chair of Yi Mysuru; Abdul Hannan, Chair of the Health & Fitness Vertical; Member of Yi Mysuru - Abhishek Patel, Praveen, Guruprasad and Dr. Manjunath, Managing Director of DRM Hospital; and students of MMK & SDM MMV. Smt. Chandana, a member of the Entrepreneurship Hub, was also present at the occasion.
The program significantly benefited the participants by raising awareness about menstrual hygiene and breaking the stigma surrounding the use of sanitary pads. It provided a platform for open discussions and education on a topic that is often considered taboo, promoting better health practices among the attendees
On 05/03/2025, a webinar on the "Career Guidance Program for Computer Science Students" was organized by the Department of Computer Science in association with ICT Academy. The session was led by Mr. Velmurugan S M, Senior Advanced Cyber Security Architect at Honeywell, Bengaluru. The participants included III BCA students, with a total of 63 attendees.
The program saw the presence of Smt. Ramya S K, ICT Committee Coordinator, and Mr. Prajwal Vasista, Relationship Manager at ICT Academy.
During the webinar, students were introduced to the technical skills required in today's job market. Mr. Velmurugan also emphasized the importance of soft skills. The session covered various topics such as job market challenges, effective job search strategies, practical advice for job seekers, resume building, the importance of projects and internships, and interview tips.
This comprehensive guidance aimed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the job market successfully.
On 07/03/2025, a guest lecture program was organized by the Department of Business Administration and the Department of Commerce on the topic "An Audit: Theory vs Practical with Reference to Government Sectors." The lecture was delivered by Sri. Chethan H.K., Assistant Controller, Karnataka State Audit Accounts Department, Bengaluru, to III BBA and B.Com students.
During the session, students gained valuable insights into the primary objective of auditing, which is to verify the reliability of financial positions and profit and loss statements. The aim is to ensure that the accounts present a true and fair view of the business and its transactions.
The program coordinators were Smt. Hajra Begum, Assistant Professor, Mr. Shivabeerappa, HOD of Business Administration, and Mr. Prashanth Jain H.V., Department of Commerce.
An IQAC initiative, the Intercollegiate Fest “Prabhigyan 2025” Banner Launch, was held on 6th March 2025 at MMK and SDM MMV, Mysuru. Organized by the Student Welfare Committee under the guidance of Smt Jyothi Lakshmi G Kava, Student Welfare Officer, the event saw participation from staff, non-staff, and students across all streams. The presence of dignitaries such as Prof. Bharathi N, Principal of the degree college, Prof. Nayanakumari, Principal of the Pre-Graduate College, and Smt K S Sukrutha, IQAC Coordinator, added to the grandeur of the occasion. The program kicked off with a Fashion Parade, where final year students showcased their creativity and design prowess. This was followed by energetic dance performances across various genres. The highlight of the event was the banner launch by the Principal, accompanied by the beats of Punjabi Dhol and drums. Student representatives and office bearers, including President Ms. Thashvi Gangamma K C, Vice President Ms. Gangashree M, Secretary Ms. Aishwarya S Prasad, Joint Secretaries Naga Ashwini and Harshitha G, Sports Secretary Ms. Sinchana Mutthamma, Cultural Secretary Ms. Radhika N, and Literary Secretary Ms. Nisarga Mahesh, played pivotal roles in the successful launch. The event was a resounding success, filled with entertainment and joy, celebrating the spirit of unity and creativity.
ಎಂ ಎಂ ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಮಂಜುನಾಥೇಶ್ವರ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗ ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶರಣ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಿಷತ್ತು ನಗರ ಘಟಕ ಮೈಸೂರು ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ "ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ವರ್ತಮಾನದ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ" ಕುರಿತ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ದಿನಾಂಕ 4- 3-2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ವಿಚಾರ ಸಂಕಿರಣವನ್ನು ನಾಡಿನ ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಅರವಿಂದ ಮಾಲಗತ್ತಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಂದಬಗೆ ವಚನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುದುಗಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಂಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಿದರು. ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎನ್.ಭಾರತಿ ಅವರು ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕನ್ನಡದ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ರಚನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಅವು ಎಂದಿದೆಗೂ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಅನಂತರ ಮೊದಲ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು ಇದರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಗಣಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಡಿ.ಎಸ್.ಗುರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಕವಿತಾ ರೈ ಅವರು 'ವಚನ ವಾಜ್ಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಚಾರಿಕತೆ' ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಮೊದಲು ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು ಅನಂತರ ಭಾರತ ಸಂಸತ್ತಿನ ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯದ ಜಂಟಿ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿಎನ್ ಚಂದ್ರಶೇಖರ್ ಅವರು ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕಾಯಕ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಸೋಹ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆನ್ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಎರಡನೇ ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಮೊದಲ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಎನ್.ಅರುಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು
ಅನಂತರ ಎರಡನೇ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಗಂಗೂಬಾಯಿ ಹಾನಗಲ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಕುಲಸಚಿವರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಂ.ಜಿ.ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹೊಳೆಹೊನ್ನೂರಿನ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಡಾ.ಪಿ.ಭಾರತಿ ದೇವಿ 'ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂವೇದನೆ' ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಬಂಧವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅನಂತರ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಶೈಲ ಹಾದಿಮನಿ ಅವರು ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕತೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ವಿಚಾರವನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು ಇದರ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ರಚನಾ ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಬಿಕಾಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
'ವಚನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಯುವ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ' ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಸಂವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು ಇದರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೊ.ಎನ್.ಎಂ. ತಳವಾರ್ ಅವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂವಾದಕರಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್.ಬಿ.ಅನಿತಾ, ಎಸ್.ಮೇಘ, ಬಿ.ಪವಿತ್ರ, ಜಿ.ಆರ್. ಮುಕ್ತ ಜೈನ್, ಸರಸ್ವತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ರಕ್ಷಿತ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು
