A Guest lecture on the topic of EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE  by Prof.Roopa MC organised by Commerce and Management department,to the all final year BBA and BCOM students. This session was very interesting and students benefited from this session's ability to recognise and understand emotions in themselves and others. 

On 30/12/2022 Tech Amateur IT Club of the Computer Science Department conducted an Interclass IT Quiz competition for BCA and BSc Computer Science students. 

An institutional visit to Vijnana Bhavan Mysore organized by department of biotechnology for 1st and 2nd year B.Sc Biotechnology students on 30th December 2022. Students witnessed instrumentation facilities and gained knowledge about analysis of those instruments.

The career quest programmewas organized by Department of Biotechnology, in association with IQAC and Career guidance and Placement Cell Committee to the students of B Sc Biotechnology (BtBM) Degree course of MMK & SDM MMV College on05/12/22. The Resource person wasDr Yashaswini Balraju , Co founder of Mycovation, Mysore.The knowledge acquisition regarding careers of biotechnology, applications and recent innovations was achieved by the students 

International Webinar on the topic “BIOPATH - RNAi Technology” was organized by Department of Biotechnology and IQAC  to the students of B Sc Biotechnology (BtBM) Degree course of MMK & SDM MMV College on 10th December 2022 at 8.30 am IST. The Google Meet was used as the platform. The Resource person was Dr. Keshava Mysore, Assistant Research Professor, Medical & Molecular Genetics, Indiana University School of Medicine, USA. Students learnt about RNA interference application in mosquito control which is the ongoing research work in science department of Indiana University. RNAi was used for selective gene targeting and gene knock down was analysed by PCR technique 

A guest lecture was organized by the Department of Biochemistry as part of the Career Quest Program on 8.12.2022. Dr Mahadesh Prasad AJ, Professor of Biochemistry at Mahajana PG Centre and Head, Mahajana Research foundation, Mysore, delivered the lecture on the topic-‘Career Opportunities after BSc in Life-sciences’. Students of all three years of BMBt participated in the program 

Department of Computer Science has conducted Final Practical Examination on add on course – Computer Fundamentals and MS Office to Second year M.Com students on 23rd December 2022.

On 20/12/2022 Interdisciplinary lecture program was organized by Smt. Rajitha V, Dept of Computer Science for III BCA students on the topic “Mathematics of Asymmetric Key Cryptography” by Smt. Chaithra N, Dept of Mathematics. 

On 10th December 2022, Student Faculty Programme was conducted to II BCA students by Miss Kusuma, III BCA on the topic " Inheritance of C#". 

On 20/12/2022 Inauguration of Tech Amateur IT Club was held. Dr. Rashmi B S, Assistant Professor, Department of Studies and Research in Information Technology, KSOU, Mysore Inaugurated the programme. Prof. Sainath Malligemadu presided over the function. Staff members of the department, office bearers of the Tech Amateur IT Club and all BSc Computer Science and BCA students were present.

On 20/12/2022 a Guest Lecture Program was organized for all BSc and BCA students on the topic “Green Computing” by Dr. Rashmi B S, Assistant Professor, Department of Studies and Research in Information Technology, KSOU, Mysore. 

Physics students attended an invited lecture on "Astronomy's New Frontiers" by Prof.Ajith Parameshwaran,TIFR,Bangalore on 9/12/2022 organized by Cosmology Education & Research Training Center,Mysore and Indian Institute of Astrophysics at Yuvaraja"s college,Mysore 

On 16.12.2022-A programme on Strategic Initiative Perspective and opportunities for BSC students was organized by Career Guidance and Placement Cell. Resource Persons: LTTS (L&T Technology Services) Team. Participants - III BSC - EMC &PMC Students (37 Students)

On 15/12/2022 the Department of Computer Science organized a Guest Lecture Program on the topic "Cyber Security" by Mr. Narender M, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science & Engineering, National Institute of Engineering. 

On 14/12/2022, Smt Sukrutha K S Organized Student Faculty Programme by Ms. Jayashree E of III BCA to III BCA Student on the topic Polymorphism.

The meeting of the office bearers of Parent – Teacher Association was conducted on 10/12/2022, at 10 am  in the seminar hall of the college to discuss about the parent teacher meeting, Election of the office bearers of PTA and other college activities.

On 10/12/2022, Parent -Teacher Meeting was organized for all first year  students and also disused about the studentsIA marks in their respective subjects, library hours,attendance shortage and academic& co-curricular activities.

Interdisciplinary lecture program was conducted to III BSc(PCM) students on the topic “Cyber Security”, Resource Person – Smt. Ramya S K, Assistant professor of Computer Science.

The Department of Physics has conducted a Career Guidance  Program - "Career Opportunities For a Physics Graduate"  for III B.Sc Physics students on 1/12/2022 by the resource person Mr.Sunil K.C,Asst.Professor,Department of Physics(PG),JSS College,Ooty Road,Mysore.

On 3/12/2022 the Computer Science Department organized a TED Lecture on the topic “Education and Confident” by Sneha Biswas for I BCA students. 

On 1/12/2022 for III BCA students, Inaugural programme of Cyber Security for Education and Students – Stage 2 - A CSR initiative Microsoft Philanthropies implemented by ICT Academy hosted by Internal Quality Assurance Cell in association with Department of Computer Science was organized.
