A ten day certificate course on CYBER SECURITY FOR EDUCATORS AND STUDENTS - STAGE 3 was organized which is a CSR INITIATIVE MICROSOFT PHILANTHROPIES Implemented by ICT Academy and hosted by Department of Computer Science of MMK & SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Mysore in association with Internal Quality Assurance Cell [IQAC] of the college for seventy hours from 13/02/2023 to 23/02/2023 for final year BCA students. Mr Prasanna Joshi, Microsoft Certified Trainer & Research Associate at CloudThat was the Resource Person. The training course covered vibrant challenging aspects in the area of Cyber Security such as Network Security Threats and counter measures, Cryptography , Web Server and Application Security. A total of 65 students benefitted by this certificate programme. Valedictory programme was held on 23/02/2023. Mr Prasanna Joshi , Trainer expressed his happiness about students involvement during the ten day training sessions. Mr Prajwal Suresh Vasista, ICT Academy Relationship Manager, Mysore Region opined that M M K & SDM MMMV students are enthusiastic and with successful completion of stage 2, they have even accomplished stage - 3 successfully which is a stage where students gain lot of knowledge through experiential learning. As it is a Microsoft certified course, the certified students are molded to enter into corporate sector to face global challenges in the field of Cyber Security. This course has nurtured the students to an extent of empowerment. Principal of the college Prof Sainath Malligemadu in his presidential address has given the remarks by expressing his happiness towards the noteworthy efforts of ICT Academy, the immense intellectual inputs by the trainer to students in the field of Cyber security which is the need of the hour. He also advised the students to give awareness about cyber security to the society whenever required. Smt K S Sukrutha, Assistant Professor & Head of the Department of Computer Science and IQAC Coordinator and other staff members of the Department were present during the valedictory programme.

Commerce and management club organised a pick and speak competition on feb 13 - 2023 for all the BCOM and BBA students at college auditorium ,students spoke well about their topics.

 We invited Mr.Kiran kumar, assistant professor of Master of commerce and Smt. Sandya assistant professor department of commerce as judges for this competition. Mr. Niranth  Assistant professor of commerce and management and Coordinator of Commerce and management club, Mr. Santhosh assistant professor department of commerce and management,and Ms. Vidya MR assistant professor department of commerce and management were presented in the programme.

On 16th February, 2023, the Legal Literacy Committee Organised Guest Lecturer on World Social Justice Day.  Resource Person,Sri. N. Sundar Raj Panel Advocate District Legal Service Authority, Mysore  Presided by, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu Principal Mr.Niranth M R Co-ordinator  Students of second year B. Com and BBA, have participated. 

08/02/2023 - 10/02/2023 - As an IQAC initiative   Science and Nature Club of the College in association with ITC Private Limited, Wellbeing out of Waste (WOW) and E Sree Foundation organized 3 Day School Exchange Recycling Program(SERP)?. Inauguration of the drive was conducted on 8th February 2023 during which Mr Chandan, Coordinator, WOW gave introductory speech and Awareness was given to the students through PPt by Mr Pandu, Coordinator E Sree Foundation followed by Dry Waste Exchange. Around 155 students were present for the awareness programme. MoU was also exchanged with E Sree Foundation.In connection with this staff and students exchanged dry waste like newspapers, old books, magazines, waste plastic materials, e-wastes etc with ITC manufactured stationery items of their choice. The students who gave more than 5 kg of dry waste received a Certificate and  the student who exchanged the highest volume of dry waste during the drive was recognized as Reuse Champion with a medal and certificate. A total of 162 staff and students exchanged wastes in this Exchange Recycling Program weighing 1069kg .

On 07/02/2023, visited MYMUL Milk dairy as àn academic activity (industrial visit) for III BBA students.

On 10.2.2023- EDUCATION IN ABROAD programme was organized to all Final Year UG Students in association with UNIABROAD, Mysore 

On 8.2.2023 - An Interaction session on Higher Education in Australian Curtin University was organized. Students of III BSC EMC & PMC and III BCA students were part of the programme. Mr. Abhijith Mukerji , Professor and Mrs.Kavitha Ganeshan of Curtin University , Australia were the resouce persons of the programme. 

On 4/2/2023- Department of Computer Science organized Parent Faculty Programme by Smt Mahathi Vasuki, Senior Associate, Education Training Assessment Unit, Infosys, Mysore Complex on the topic Database Normalisation to II year BCA Students 

On 3/2/2023- Ms Aditi R K and Ms Amrutha V participated in AI MARATHON and presented a paper on the topic "AI for good" organized by Club Silicon of SDM Institute of Management Development, Mysore and secured first prize with cash prize Rs 10000/- 

An Alumni Faculty Program was organized by the Department of Biochemistry on 02.02.2023. Dr. Shama E Milton, Campus Director and Principal of Trinity PU and Degree College was the guest speaker for the program. She is an alumnus of MMK & SDM MMV and was among the first batch of Life science (BMBt) students who graduated in 2005-2008. BMBt students of all three years attended the program.
