Problem Solving Technique Fun Activity 

The Commerce Club and Management Club collaborated to host a "Problem Solving Technique Fun Activity" for all B.Com. and BBA students on November 27, 2023.Twenty teams from BCom and BBA programs participated in the activity, with four students in each team. There were four rounds to the activity: Human Knot, Ball Drop, Get Saved with Rope, and Maze. The purpose of the exercise was to improve students' critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Mr. Santhosh DH and Ms. Prathima M, assistant professors in the Department of Commerce and Management, organized the event. The event was judged by Smt. Vidya M R, assistant professor of Management, and Smt. Sandhya S, assistant professor of Commerce. 

Extension Activity 

On 23 November 2023, 25 students of class 8 & 9 of Lakshmipuram high school were engaged in an extension activity led by Smt. Pallavi Angadi, Assistant Professor in Mathematics , Miss. Niharika V Jain, Assistant Professor in Physics, Miss. Nischitha M, Assistant Professor in Chemistry and Dr. Chaitra Mallu, Assistant Professor in Chemistry. The objective of the activity is to create and motivate the younger generation and adapt their approaches based on practical realities, leading to the development of critical thinking and problem solving abilities to enhance their understanding and inspire a passion for these subjects. 

Demonstration of math models and puzzle activity, Explanation of electromagnetism, Fun filled chemistry experiments captivated students attention. The outcome was a heightened enthusiasm for science and technology, as students gained practical knowledge.

Home Management session on "stress Management: Work Life Balance" 

A session on "Stress Management: Work Life Balance" was organized on November 30th, 2023, for students enrolled in the Home Management course. Dr Raveesh B N, Professor & Head, Dept of Psychiatry, Mysore Medical College & Research Institute, Mysore delivered this insightful session.

The session covered a wide range of stress-related topics. They discussed the different types of stress highlighting their distinct effects on both mental and physical health. The presentation also addressed the crucial aspect of maintaining a balanced work-life equilibrium, stressing the significance of setting boundaries, managing time efficiently, and prioritizing self-care practices. Practical methods for reducing and preventing stress were suggested to bolster resilience against stressors. Attendees were encouraged to identify their individual stress triggers and implement personalized strategies to effectively cope with and alleviate stress in their everyday lives.

Special recognition was extended to the organizing team, comprising Sri. B. N. Maruthi Prasanna, the Coordinator of Home Management, and faculty members Ms. Kavya S. N., Ms. Nischitha N., and Ms. Sandhya S. from various departments. Their dedication and hard work were instrumental in making this enlightening event possible and greatly benefiting 112 students of III B.Sc. and III BCA.

Home Management session on "Hygiene & Cleanliness and Women's health" 

A session on "Hygiene & Cleanliness and Women's health" was organized on November 30th , 2023, for students enrolled in the Home Management course. Dr Nayana Kiran, Santrupti family and children counselling clinic, Mysore delivered this insightful session.

The session was a comprehensive exploration of various aspects crucial to personal care. The guest speaker meticulously covered essential practices such as oral hygiene, stressing the importance of regular brushing and dental care. Hand washing techniques and the significance of maintaining clean hands to prevent infections were emphasized, alongside the necessity of proper face hygiene and nail care for overall health. The session also delved into the significance of bathing routines, skin care, and the importance of maintaining foot hygiene for general well-being. Moreover, the speaker highlighted menstrual hygiene practices, shedding light on the female reproductive system and offering valuable insights into the benefits of maintaining proper menstrual care. Furthermore, the session included a candid discussion on the significance of masturbation as a natural and healthy aspect of women's reproductive health, fostering a safe environment to address this often overlooked topic. Overall, the session provided a holistic understanding of hygiene practices crucial for women's health, spanning from basic daily routines to addressing specific aspects of female reproductive health and well-being. 

Special recognition was extended to the organizing team, comprising Sri. B. N. Maruthi Prasanna, the Coordinator of Home Management, and faculty members Ms. Kavya S. N., Ms. Nischitha N., and Ms. Sandhya S. from various departments. Their dedication and hard work were instrumental in making this enlightening event possible and greatly benefiting 103 students of III B.Sc. and III BCA.

Book Exhibition of “Research Methodology books and Journals" 

An IQAC initiative Exhibition of “Research Methodology books and Journals” was organised by Staff and Student Research Committee in association with Department of Library, MMK and SDM MMV, Mysore on 28 th November 2023 to explore the sources of Research and to create awareness on the importance of Journals related to all streams of degrees.

The Qualitative and Quantitative Research oriented books exhibited, represented as Guide in Designing and Implementation of the required research. The students (96) and faculties (17) from all streams participated in the event.

The Principal of MMK SDM MMV, Prof Sainath Malligemadu, Smt. Bharathi. N, Vice principal and Smt. Sukrutha K.S, IQAC Coordinator graced the event. The organizing secretary was Smt. Padma, HoD of Library Dept. The Staff and Student Research Committee Co-ordinator was Dr. Shwetha S, and the committee members were Dr Chaitanya Pandit, Asst. Prof of Biochemistry Dept, Smt Pallavi Angadi, Asst. Prof of Mathematics dept, Ms Sandhya Asst. Prof. of Commerce dept and Dr Sudhamani, Asst. Prof of Computer Science dept.

Essay writing competition 

On 23rd November 2023, the Literary committee of MMK & SDM College, in association with Prajavani Kannada News paper organised an Essay writing competition on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava celebration.

The topic for the essay writing was “ Employment opportunities in Kannada”. The prizes will be distributed on 25th November on the day when Kannada Rajyotsava will be celebrated at the college premises. First prize was bagged by Ms. Muktha Jain, 2nd B.Sc, while the second and third prizes were secured by Ms. Chaithrashree P of 3rd B.Sc and Thirthashree of 3rd B.Com. Nisarga Mahesh from 2nd B.Com B was awarded a Consolation Prize.

14 students participated for the same and the students were elated at having been provided with a platform to express their ideas. Smt. Bhogeshwari D, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration lead the program and made it a grand success. 

Elocution competition on the occasion of Kannada Rajyothsava 

On 10th November 2023, the Literary committee of MMK & SDM College, in association with Prajavani Kannada News paper organised an elocution competition on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava celebration.

The topic for the elocution was “Contribution of modern technology to the preservation of the Kannada language”. The results will be announced on 25th November on the day when Kannada Rajyotsava will be celebrated at the college premises. The judges for the event was Smt. Anitha Jayaram P, Assistant Professor, Department of Language and Smt. Bhogeshwari D, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration.

The students were elated at having been provided with a platform to express their opinions and present their points.

MMK and SDM Student won "Kannada Kampu" state level essay competition 

As part of the Literary Committee events, the students of MMK & SDM MMV participated for “Kannada Kampu '', an Inter-college Essay Writing Competition at the State Level, organised by the Sheshadripuram Degree College, Mysore. The topic for the competition was  “The Contribution of the Ascetics who took penance for the naming of Karnataka ''. 

Rakshitha N of 3rd BCA secured the 3rd Prize and brought laurels to our college. The prize was distributed on the 23rd, on the day of the event celebration.

Constitution Day Celebration 

The Legal literacy committee and the NSS unit of MMK and SDM MMV, jointly organized the 74th constitution day celebration on 27/11/2023. On this occasion, Sri SN Sandesh Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mysore was invited as a chief guest. The program was presided by Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, Principal.

The guest, in his speech, explained the history and making of the constitution, the struggle behind it and the major contribution of Dr. B R. Ambedkar. Also, he briefly explained the Preamble, articles and amendments of the constitution. The president in his presidential address explained the importance of the constitution in everyone's life. Also, he emphasized the rights and duties one should follow.

The LLC coordinator, NSS coordinator and all the committee members were present for the program.

ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭ 

ಪದ್ಮ ವಿಭೂಷಣ ಡಾ. ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿನಾಂಕ 25-11-2023 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ ದಿನ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಘಟಕದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ನುಡಿರತ್ನ ಸಂಘವು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಬಹು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಹಿತು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟಕರಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ನಾಟಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ರಂಗಾಯಣದ  ಹಿರಿಯ ಕಲಾವಿದರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅರಸೀಕೆರೆ ಯೋಗಾನಂದರು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.  

ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ ಬ್ಯೂರೋ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ  ಶ್ರೀ ನರಸಿಂಹಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರು ಇವತ್ತಿನ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯುವ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಗಮನಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ತನ್ನದೇ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಹಾಗೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಘವು ಪ್ರಬಂಧ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಷಣ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿತ್ತು. ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಜಾವಾಣಿ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯವರು  ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಬಹುಮಾನವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಸಾಯಿನಾಥ್‌ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಮಾಡು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಡಾ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನದ ಸುಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆ ನನಗೆ ತುಂಬ ಮಹತ್ವಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಕಾಣುತ್ತದೆ. ಪೂಜ್ಯರು ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ  ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರಲ್ಲದೆ ಧರ್ಮ ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ಆಶಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸರ್ವಧರ್ಮ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮ್ಮೇಳನಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೌಹಾರ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಮನ್ವಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವಾಗಿದಾರೆಂಬ ಎಂಬ ಅಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪರವಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ನಯನಕುಮಾರಿ ಅವರು  ಐಕ್ಯೂ ಎಸಿ ಘಟಕದ  ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್‌.ಸುಕೃತ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿರಿದ್ದರು. ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ ಭಾರತಿ ಮೇಡಂ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಸಿನಿಮಾಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಕದೇ ಇರುವುದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿ, ಕನ್ನಡ ಲಿಪಿಯ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಕುಮಾರಿ ರಕ್ಷಿತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು, ಕುಮಾರಿ ಲಿಖಿತಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಕುಮಾರಿ ರಿಯಾ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವ ರಚಿತ ಕವನ ವಾಚಿಸಲಾಹಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಪರಂಪೆರಯನ್ನು ಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ನೃತ್ಯ ರೂಪಕವನ್ನು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಅನುಷಾ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಕೀರ್ತನಾ ತಂಡದವರು ತುಂಬಾ ಸೊಗಸಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡ ಗೀತಗಾಯನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜ್ಯ ವೀರೇಂದ್ರ ಹೆಗ್ಗಡೆ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

Home Management Session on "Fun Focus" 

The home management department organized an engaging and intellectually stimulating event called "Fun Focus" aimed at fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork among students on 23rd November. The event was hosted by II Year M. Com students and comprised a variety of activities including rebus puzzles, brain teasers, word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles and sound charades. Participants delved into deciphering visual puzzles where images and symbols represented words or phrases. This activity tested their ability to think laterally and connect visual cues to linguistic concepts. Students engaged in wordplay and linguistic challenges, unraveling an array of crossword puzzles, anagrams, and word association games.


This segment highlighted their vocabulary, spelling, and pattern recognition skills. Teams showcased their acting prowess by enacting movie titles, phrases, or books without speaking, relying solely on lip syncs, gestures and body language. This activity encouraged teamwork, communication, and quick thinking. The "Fun Focus" activity successfully promoted camaraderie among participants while stimulating their cognitive abilities. It provided a platform for students to exhibit their problem- solving skills, creativity, and teamwork in a fun and relaxed setting.

The event was a resounding success, fostering an environment of fun-filled learning and interaction. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the various challenges presented during the "Fun Focus" activity, showcasing their enthusiasm and active participation throughout the event. The home management department deserves commendation for orchestrating such an engaging and intellectually stimulating event, contributing to the holistic development of students beyond the conventional curriculum

Eye Donation Camp 

An eye donation registration camp was organized by NSS unit MMK and SDM MMV, on  account of birthday celebrations of Pujya Padma Vibhushan, Dr. Virendra Hegde, the founder of SDM Society and  Member of Rajya Sabha.  Dr. P Chandrakala, Eye Bank Officer, Mysore Medical College, Mysore was invited as chief guest for the programme. Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, principal,  in his presidential address explained the importance of eye donation and motivated the students to register for eye donation.

After the presidential address, the chief guest in her lecture explained the importance of eye donation, rules and regulation to collect eyes, procedure to follow, surgical way to collect, free surgery for blind people, conditions while collecting retina, etc. Smt. Anitha P Jayaram, NSS Coordinator, Mr.  B N Maruti Prasanna, Miss Bhargavi  H G, Smt. Hema NS,  and Miss. Pratima M was present in the program.

28 students have donated on the spot and 10 students collected forms. This propagated for another 3 days

Visit to Old age home by NSS Unit 

NSS Unit of MMK and SDM MMV organized an old age home visit to BELAKU, old age home, Shrirampura, Mysuru on 22nd November 2023 for NSS students. Prof. Sainath  Malligemadu, principal, Smt. Anita P Jayaram, NSS coordinator, Smt. Hema NS, NSS member Miss. Pratima M, NSS Member, was accompanied. 

 The visit aimed to provide food items to the residents of old age home. It also aimed at entertaining old age home residents through a cultural program by NSS students.  Students spend their precious time interacting with old age home residuals..

Guest lecture programme by NSS unit 

A guest lecture programme on Cancer was organized on 23 November 2023 by NSS unit, MMK and SDM MMV.  As chief guest Dr.Sudha, prof and HoD dept  OBG, Mysore medical college and research centre, Mysore was invited.  Professor Sainath Mallige Madu, Principal, presided over the programme.  The guest lecture covered topics related to cancer such as types of cancer, causes of cancer, lifestyle of people diet, characteristics of cancer and prevention, treatment etc.  Mrs. Sukrita KS IQ AC Coordinator, Mrs. Anita P Jayaram NSS Coordinator,Mr. Maruthi Prasanna , Mrs Hema NS, Miss Pratima (NSS Members) were present in the program. Total 89 NSS volunteers participated in the program. 

Seminar on "Intellectual Property"

A one day seminar program on Intellectual property rights-Career prospects and setting up of IPR cell was organized by the Department of Biochemistry on 24.11.2023. Mrs Namitha Rao, Founder/Director of Proaqlev IP solutions, Bangalore was the Chief Guest and one of the resource persons. Mrs Sunethra Derebail, Senior Patent Attorney, S & H Partners, Bangalore was the Guest of Honor and the other resource person. The program was presided over by Prof Sainath Malligemadu, Principal of the college.

In his speech, the Principal mentioned that in addition to research, equal importance should be given to creating awareness about intellectual property rights so that student’s research ideas are protected. Mrs Namitha Rao in her lecture explained the process of setting up an IPR cell and elaborated on the importance of having an IPR cell in the campus. Mrs Sunethra Derebail educated the students about the patenting system in India and discussed in detail about the possible career opportunities and the path to be followed for choosing IPR as a career.

Smt Bharathi N, Vice Principal and Head of the department of Physics was present on this occasion. Dr Wethroe Kapfo, Head and Assistant Professor, Dept of Biochemistry was the coordinator of the program. Dr Chaitanya Pandit, Assistant Professor, Dept of Biochemistry was the co-coordinator for the event. Life science students of all three years and final year students of department of Physics and Chemistry attended the program. A total of 63 students benefited from the seminar. 

Book Exhibition at SDM MMV

An exhibition of books was arranged by the Library at MMK SDM MMV , to commemorate the National Library week from 15th November to 20th November 2023. Books on General Studies, LIC, RRB, IBPS,  Quantitative Aptitude , Verbal and Non verbal Reasoning, English for communication, General Science, History, Geography, Political science, books on interview, inventions  etc were displayed. 

174 Students and 10 faculty members visited and viewed the exhibition. The exhibition created awareness among the students about availability of books in the Library for their competitive examinations.The programme was organized by Smt. Padma B S, Librarian on the occasion of 56th National Library week celebration to exhibit the role of library that plays in learning and opportunity that caters to different interests.

Home Management session on "Waste Management"

A session on "Waste Management" was organized on November 22nd, 2023, for students of the Home Management course. Sri Madhukar, Assistant Executive Engineer (Environment), Mysore City Corporation, Mysore, led the way in orchestrating this informative session.

He started the session by saying that, Mysuru City Corporation has taken significant strides in solid waste management, guided by the Swachh Bharat Mission and the Solid Waste Management Rules of 2016. Citizens are obligated to segregate waste into biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and hazardous streams, reducing waste quantities and promoting composting and recycling. 

Mr. Madhukar gave insights about how Mysoreans have adopted Green initiatives like eco-friendly weddings and proposals for Green Shops at Zonal Offices showcase the city's commitment to sustainability. 

During the session B. N. Maruthi Prasanna, the Coordinator, and members of the Home management committee were present. The program benefited 84 students of III B.Sc. and III BCA.

Home Management session on "Women Empowerment" 

A session on "Women Empowerment" was organized on November 18th, 2023, for students enrolled in the Home Management course. Prof. Vineetha P. K., Assistant Professor in Law, GSSS First Grade College, Mysuru delivered this insightful session.

The session had vital aspects of women's empowerment in India, focusing on legal frameworks and rights. She explained the challenges women face in decision-making, education, employment, and are often victims of domestic violence. She advocated for multifaceted empowerment strategies, including education, self-employment, and a societal shift in attitudes towards women.

The analysis extended to the legal realm, exploring constitutional guarantees such as Article 14, 15(3), and 16, ensuring equality, liberty, and justice for women. Delving into criminal laws, she provided a comprehensive overview of legislation addressing issues like obscenity, dowry, acid attacks, sexual harassment, rape, and domestic violence. Lastly, she concluded the session by underscoring the imperative of societal attitude change as a pivotal factor in achieving genuine empowerment for women in India.

72 students of III B.Sc. and III BCA participated in the program.

Home Management session on "Intellectual Property Rights" 

A session on "Intellectual Property Rights" was organized on November 18th, 2023, for students of the Home Management course. Prof. H.S. Shivakumar, Asst. Prof of Law Vidyavardhaka Law College, Mysuru delivered this insightful session.

The session started by exploring the realms of law and intellectual property, the discussion centered on the fundamental concepts of law and rights. The session delved into the various types of rights, categorizing them into natural, moral, and legal, with the latter further classified into fundamental, political, and social or civil rights.

The intellectual property segment highlighted the diverse landscape of rights, including patents, copyrights, trademarks, and geographical indications. He explained that Patents give exclusive rights for inventions, and must meet specific criteria for eligibility, while copyrights grant exclusive rights to literary, artistic, and musical works for a specified duration. The session provided a comprehensive understanding of the legal framework governing intellectual property rights, shedding light on their significance and diverse applications.  During the programme, Sri. B. N. Maruthi Prasanna, Coordinator, and members of the Home Management committee were present. The programme was greatly benefiting 102 students of III B.Sc. and III BCA.

Excellent performance of MMK and SDM students at the intercollegiate fest 

MMK and SDM Maha Vidyalaya,Mysore,  Department of Business Administration students showcased their exceptional talents at the Management fest held by Teresian College, Mysore, on November 17, 2023. Their outstanding performances secured significant victories, earning accolades in various competitions:

Ms. Pratheeksha Hegde & Ms.Deepthi.S.R of III BBA won 3rd prize in quiz, Ms.Sanjana.P & Ms.Prerana.A of III BBA won 2nd prize in E - Start up competition, Ms.Bi BI Fathima & Ms.Shiza Zaib of III BBA won 2nd prize in Shark Tank competition and Ms. Naga Ashwini ,Ms. Vikasni, Ms. Thasvi Gangamma, Ms. Deeksha & Ms. Prathiksha of II BBA won 2nd prize in the Mad Ads competition.

Their remarkable achievements were met with warm congratulations from the HOD, teaching staff, and The principal. These wins reflect their dedication, strategic thinking, and creativity, bringing pride to the institution and exemplifying their commitment to excellence in the field of business administration.

Awareness Programme on Commodity Derivatives 

On 16.11.2023, the Department of Commerce organized an Awareness Programme on Commodity Derivatives in association with Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX). A total 82 final year B.Com students participated in the session. Mr.Anjan Kumar, Business Development Officer, MCX was the Resource person to the programme, Mr. Prashanth Jain, HOD Dept of Commerce and Mr. Mahadevaswamy S, Assistant Professor and Miss. Prathima M, Assistant Professors of Commerce were present during the programme.

ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ: ವೃತ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು 

ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಎಂ.ಎಂ.ಕೆ.ಶ್ರೀಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಮಂಜುನಾಥೇಶ್ವರ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗ, ನುಡಿರತ್ನ ಕನ್ನಡಸಂಘ, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಘಟಕದ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಡಾ.ನೇಸರ ಕಾಡನಕುಪ್ಪೆ ಸಹ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು, ನಿಟ್ಟೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟ್ಯೂಟ್‌ ಆಫ್‌ ಕಮ್ಯೂನಿಕೇಶನ್‌ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಇವರು ʼʼತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ: ವೃತ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯ ಕುರಿತು ವಿಶೇಷ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ವರ್ತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಗಳು ಹಲವು ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ ಅಭಿಮಾನದಿಂದ ಕಾಣುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ಇಂದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ.



ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಎರಡು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಮಿಗಿಲಾದ ಭವ್ಯ ಪರೋಮರೆಯಿದ್ದು ಇಂದು ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ಕೆಲವೇ ಕೆಲವು ಅತಿ ಸುಂದರ ಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ.ಇಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಮತ್ತು ಇಂಗ್ಲೀಷ್‌ ಎರಡನ್ನು ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡುವ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ  ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ಕೇವಲ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿ ನೋಡದೆ ಬದುಕು ಎಂದು ಭಾವಿಸಬೇಕು, ಆಧುನಿಕ ಜಗತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಯುಗವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಭಾಷೆಯ ಅನುಸಂಧಾನದ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡವು  ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಬೇಕಿದ್ದು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲದೇ ಔದ್ಯೋಗಿಕವಾಗಿಯೂ  ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಂದಿನ ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಳಸಬೇಕಉ ಮತ್ತು ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ವಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯಾಗಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನವನ್ನು  ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆಶಯ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸಾಯಿನಾಥ್‌ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಮಾಡು ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಭವ್ಯ ಪರಂಪರೆ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯನ್ನು  ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಕಾಳಜಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಜೀವಂತ ಭಾಷೆಯಾಗಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ,ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯಗಳು, ಸಂಘ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮಾಡಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಯಾವುದೇ ತಂತ್ರಾಂಶಗಳು ಬಂದರೂ ಅದು ಕನ್ನಡದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅನುಸಂಧಾನ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲೇಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.  ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಮೊದಲು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಏಕೀಕರಣದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬೆಳೆವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗಿದ್ದು ಕನ್ನಡದ ಅಸ್ಮಿತೆಯನ್ನು ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಗೊಂಡರೆ ಅಖಂಡ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಆಶಯ ನೆರವೇರಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ  ಪ್ರೊ ಕೆ ಎಸ್‌ ಸುಕೃತ, ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ ಡಾ.ವಿನೋದ. ಕನ್ನಡ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಬಿ.ಎನ್‌. ಮಾರುತಿ ಪ್ರಸನ್ನ, ಕುಮಾರಿ ಅನಿತ  ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಿ ಸಿ ಎ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾಥಿನಿಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು

Leadership Development Programme 

On 10th September, 2023, MMK and SDM Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Mysore, Student Welfare Committee organized ‘Leadership Development programme’ for all the class representatives and student council office bearers. Sri. Chethan Ram R A, Dean& Managing trustee, Parivarthana School and college, Sriranagapatna and also CEO and Chief trainer, AMCAD Mysore, was invited as a resource person for this programme; his words are inspiring on students about leadership skills, which are essential for students, which can help them in both academic and personal life. 

Further he quote, a perfect leader is “One who knows the way, shows the way and goes the ways”, unquote which means, a good leader should have the clear vision on future and be the inspiration to others with their personalities; along with this one should possess big dreams, have high confidence, empower the right positive attitude, in their life, He concluded by saying like time management is the one which leads to success, the successful life leads to happiness, as all the great leaders in their individual period agreed that great leadership qualities the complete happiness leads to satisfaction and that satisfaction leads to peaceful life, these words promoted the new ways of thinking in our students.

Guest Lecture by Science & Nature Club 

On November 9, 2023, the Science and Nature Club organized a guest lecture titled "Mind-Body Wellness Session: Navigating Mental Health & PCOD" for final year students, drawing an impressive attendance of 200. The program was presided by Smt Bharathi N, Vice-Principal & Head, Department of Physics, Smt Sukrutha K S, IQAC Coordinator & Head, Department of Computer Science and Mrs. Brinda Nanjappa, Health & Wellness coach, served as the Resource Person. The lecture primarily centered on the intricate relationship between mental health and PCOD, shedding light on their profound impact on women's overall well-being. The resource person delved into practical remedies encompassing dietary modifications and targeted exercises, offering a holistic approach to combat PCOD.

Furthermore, the session featured insightful demonstrations of beneficial yoga poses tailored for PCOD management. She actively engaged students in stress-relieving pranayama exercises, equipping them with tools to navigate anxious times. The talk culminated with valuable tips for effectively managing mental health during stressful periods. This program aimed to empower students with a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection and foster proactive measures for holistic well-being. Ms Niharika V Jain, coordinator organized the same, Dr. Chaithramallu and Ms. Kavya members of Science & Nature Club were present during the occasion. 

Valedictory of ICT Certificate Course - Training Phase 2 

On 11.11.2023, Valedictory function for 20Hrs, 3 days Soft Skill training as part of the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certificate course was organized. The programme was graced by Prof.Sainath Malligemadu, Principal, Prof. Bharathi N, Vice Principal, Smt. Roopa R, Soft skill trainer, ICT academy, Mr. Prajwal Vasishta, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy, Smt. K S Sukrutha, IQAC Coordinator, Smt. Ramya S K, ICT coordinator, and faculty Coordinators Ms. Bhargavi and Ms. Sowmya, Assistant professors, Dept. of Computer science. The soft skill trainer, Smt Roopa congratulated the institution for organizing such beneficial programs for the students. She insisted the students utilize all the knowledge gained through various activities conducted during the training sessions for their upcoming job opportunities. Prof Bharathi N in her presidential address expressed her sincere gratitude towards the trainer in making this event a successful one and equipping the students with the necessary skills.

This soft skill training improved students' confidence level and they gained a lot of knowledge in communication skills, effective listening skills, time management, problem solving and critical thinking. 

Valedictory of ICT Certificate Course - Training Phase 1 

On 8.11.2023, Valedictory Function of 100 Hours, 14 days AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certificate course was organized. During the occasion, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, Principal, Mr.Bhaskar Yadav, Technical Trainer, ICT Academy, Mr.Prajwal Vasishta, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy, Smt.K.S.Sukrutha , IQAC Coordinator, Smt.Ramya S K, ICT Committee Coordinator and faculty coordinators Ms. Bhargavi HG and Ms. Sowmya N were present. Mr. Bhaskar Yadav expressed his gratitude towards the institution in organizing such a programme in association with ICT ACADEMY as part of CSR initiative by Cognizant Foundation to III BCA students. Principal during his presidential address insisted students make best utilization of the knowledge gained during the hundred-hour course which is beneficial for their career.

The students were extremely benefitted as this course is a current trend requirement to examine global concerns in the digital era. The course has given the students a wealth of academic and practical information that will aid them and open up amazing job opportunities.

Inter-Institutional 2-day Hands-on Workshop 

An Inter-Institutional 2-day Hands-on Workshop on “Changing Trends in the Molecular and Computational Techniques in the Post-Genomic Era” was organized for final year B Sc Life sciences students by the Department of Biotechnology, MMK and SDM MMV, Mysuru and Department of Biotechnology at IBAB, Bengaluru; with support from: The Department of Biotechnology grant, government of Karnataka at Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), Bengaluru on 6 th and 7 th November 2023 as part of MoU program.  The Principal of MMK and SDM MMV, Mysuru Prof Sainath Malligemadu and the Director of IBAB, Bengaluru, Prof H S Subramanya were the dignitaries of the event.

Prof. Kshitish K Acharya, Professor, IBAB was the chief Coordinator, teacher and trainer and Dr. Govind Balagannavar, IBAB was co-teacher and trainer. The program coordinator was Dr. Shwetha S, HoD and Cocoordinator was Ms Durgashree A J, Asst Prof from Biotechnology Dept. The HoD and Asst Prof of Dept. of Biochemistry, Dr. Wethroe Kapfo was present in the event.

The participants gained knowledge of Computational Biology in ‘Biomarker discovery’, ‘Transcriptomics’, ‘Genomics’, ‘Mammalian gene expression regulation’ and ‘spermatogenesis’. The certificates were issued for participants post workshop.

Orientation Programme for MCom students 

Orientation for the 1st year M.Com students was organized on the 7th of November 2023 by PG Department of Commerce. The program was graced by the Principal, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, Dr. Devaki K.K, HOD, PG Department of Commerce, Dr. Dileep Kumar, Assistant Professor, Smt. B.S Padma, Librarian and Smt. Sukrutha, IQAC coordinator. 

The Principal, Prof. Sainath Malligemadu addressed the students and welcomed the freshers to the college and congratulated them on their success in securing admission to the PG Department of Commerce. He also insisted the students on spending the majority of their free classes in the library to increase their knowledge and understanding of the subjects being taught. Dr. Devaki K.K, welcomed the newly enrolled students and gave them an overview of the department. She highlighted the department's rich history, experienced faculty, comprehensive curriculum, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and various extracurricular activities. Smt. B.S Padma, Librarian, welcomed the freshers and spoke about the importance of libraries in the academic journey of students. Dr. Dileep Kumar, Assistant Professor delivering the vote of thanks.

ಎಂ ಎಮ್ ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್ ಡಿ ಎಂ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಮಹಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾರತ್ ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೈಡ್ಸ್ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ವಲಯ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ಅಂತರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಾರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. Dr. ಕೆ. ಬಿ ಗುರುಮೂರ್ತಿ ಇವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾoಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸಾಯಿನಾಥ್ ಮಲ್ಲಿಗೆಮಾಡು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. Dr. ಅಜಯ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಜೈನ್ ರವರು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೂತ್ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಲೀಡರ್ ಸೈಯದ್ ಸಾದತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ರೇಂಜರ್ ಯೂನಿಟ್ ಲೀಡರ್ Smt. ಮಾಲತಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. 

Parent - Teacher Meeting 

The Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) for all academic programs (BBA, B.COM, BSC, and BCA) across all three years was conducted at MMK and SDM Mahila Maha Vidyalaya to facilitate communication and collaboration between parents and educators.                  

Parents and educators were able to work together to address academic difficulties, plan for the future, and develop plans for improvement because of the PTM. Maintaining open lines of communication and mutual support between parents and teachers will be essential to the students' development. Two teachers will be designated as mentors in each class, responsible for thirty students each. During this process,  the parents will be informed about the student's performance, attendance, library hours, and active involvement in all activities. Thus, parents and teachers help students to focus in their studies

Industrial Visit to DFRL, Mysore 

Department of Business Administration ( BBA) organised an Industrial Visit to DFRL, Mysore on 6th November, 2023 for II BBA students ( 31 Students) along with two faculty members Sri. Niranth M R and Smt Vidya M R, Assistant Professors of BBA department accompanied.

The objective of the visit is to provide students with an insight of the practical applications of production and operations of products in the area of food science and technology to cater the varied food challenges for the Armed Forces. 

The students were able to understand the importance of researching various aspects of food science and technologies, excellence in food research and product development. And about the design, develop and evaluate food to meet the needs of Service and spin off to civil application.

Book exhibition cum sales in MMK SDM MMV, Mysore


An exhibition and sale of books was arranged by MMK and SDM MMV in association with M/S Navakarnataka Publications, Mysore. Every year the exhibition is conducted during parent Teachers Meeting, In view of the same, the book exhibition was organized in the college Campus by the department of Library on 3rd and 4th, of November 2023.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by the Principal Prof. Sainath Malligemadu, in his address he mentioned the importance of reading books and advised the students to purchase books and to build a collection of their own. He also recalled our President Poojya Heggadeji as a book lover and who donates the books regularly to the college library for the benefit of staff and students.

Mr. Yogesh and Mr. Ravindra Swamy, representatives from M /S Navakarnataka Publications, Mysore, Prof. Nayanakumari, Principal, MMK SDM Girls PU College, Smt. Sukrutha K. S, IQAC Co-ordinator, Smt. Padma B S, Librarian, Faculty members, students and Library staff were present. Ms. Muktha Jain of II B Sc Compeered the Programme.

Intercollegiate International Webinar on the topic “Biosparkles - Colon Cancer in Obesity”


An IQAC initiative Intercollegiate International Webinar on the topic “Biosparkles - Colon Cancer in Obesity” was organized by Department of Biotechnology, MMK and SDM MMV, Mysuru on November 3rd 2023 @ 8.30am IST and the Delegate Speaker was Dr. Balasubramanian Palaniappan Assistant Research Professor, Dept. of Clinical and Translational Sciences, Marshall University, WV,USA.

The webinar was held on Google meet and YouTube platform. The students and faculties from various institutes like Institute of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics (IBAB), Bangalore, Mahajana Education society, Mysore, JSSAHER Mysore etc joined as participants. The E-certificate was sent to all the participants post filling the feedback form. The Principal of MMK and SDM MMV, Mysuru Prof. Sainath Malligemadu and IQAC co-ordinator, Smt. Sukrutha K S, Associate Professor, graced the event virtually. The program coordinator was Dr. Shwetha S, HoD and Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology and Cocoordinator was Ms. Durgashree A J, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology.

ನವಂಬರ್‌ 2, 2023 ರಂದು ಎಂ.ಎಂ.ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಎಂ ಮಹಿಳಾಮಹಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಘದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ 50ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಮತ್ತು ಭಿತ್ತಿಪತ್ರ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ರಚಿಸಿದ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಇತಿಹಾಸ, ಙ್ಞಾನಪೀಠ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರು, ಹಳಗನ್ನಡದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕವಿಗಳು, ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರು

ಮುಂತಾದ ಭಿತ್ತಿಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಏಕೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಇತಿಹಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು, ನಿಯತಕಾಲಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡಾ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಪುಸ್ತಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಗ್ರಂಥಪಾಲಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪದ್ಮಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಸಂಘದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭೋಗೇಶ್ವರಿ ಅವರು ಈ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.
